yeah, it's completely safe buddy
it will degrade after awhile tho, but until expiry date it should still be good.

The best way is to find someone who is diabetic (it's not hard). That way you can easily always get fresh insulin
I have a friend who is diabetic, I just asked him and he said that your insulin will be absolutely fine and also same efectiveness. If it was kept in the fridge of course.
