    BW vs SS

    Hey

BAC water is quite a hassle to get where I live so I was wondering if mixing my peptides in sterile saline solution is a terrible idea? I'm mostly concerned with issues of peptide integrity, not so much about keeping the solution sterile for weeks and weeks.

    Thanks!

What about sterile water for injection? I don't know if the higher salinity content of a NaCl solution will cause increased reduction/oxidation reactions.

I would like to know this as well, and if there is a better alternative to sterile water.

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with benzyl alcohol added to prevent bacterial growth, which is why it is most commonly recommended for reconstitution.

Thank Bro, is there anything else that would come highly recommended. The reason I ask is cause apparently the manufacturer is stating there is a shortage.

How long do your reconstituted vials usually last? If it's for immediate use or within a short time frame sterile water shouldn't be an issue to use for reconstitution.
