You are right, man! If you rest for too long, then you might not be able to find the motivation to workout again. Worse, your body won't get used to the body sore. Your muscles will always feel sore if you rest a lot. Just take a day off in a week and you'll already be fine.

If you must continue I have to wonder when you must rest. Surely there must be a resting day or two, especially when you are sore?

Just continue to train and your body and muscles will be able to adjust to the body sore or body pain. Just what the other users recommend here, do not forget to take a rest every week as well to allow your muscles to repair.

I know it hurts a lot when your muscles sore. The first time I worked out, I even find it difficult to walk normally, but then, I forced myself to do my workout routine according to my schedule and I did not regret doing that. It really gave me the best effect. Now, I only rarely get muscle sore.

It is nice to know that we all have the same take on this one! There is a saying that goes "NO PAIN, NO GAIN" and this is really applicable to this situation. Keep on squatting, mate! Good luck and congratulations in advance as I know that you'll succeed if you keep doing a great job in working out.

You really made a great choice and I know your "difficult" choice is all worth it as I can see that you really have a great figure as of now. Keep doing. Women like you inspire me to work out better and exert more effort in keeping myself fit.

The other users are right. You should continue to workout even with your muscle sore. The sore and pain will go away sooner or later once you have fully adjusted to your workout routines.

I think its okay to have a rest day once every week. That will give your body more energy to work out again. Even machines get tired. Don't abuse your body and give it time to restore energy again so you can perform better.

I did have a rest day. What I meant was, even when my body was sore the next day, I still continued to work out since it wasn't my rest day yet. I think it's helpful that we also let our bodies rest, because they might overworked and will suffer from consequences.

Taking a rest from all the lifting and working out for a day won't hurt and that doesn't mean you still haven't disciplined yourself enough. It just means that you care about your body and that it needs time to energize so you can work out properly again.

That's a normal reaction of the body. Unless it really hurts or you got a sprain or something, it's best to continue working out!
