    She's been free of opiates for more then 3 weeks already. I'm so proud of her. She used lots of kratom and smoked marijuana for the first two weeks, while she was feeling physically sick. Now she is feeling way better and doesn't smoke anymore, I know because I see her everyday. And thanks for advice about sauna, it helped as well.

    Even with the great pieces of advice people are giving this thread, it's still best for your friend to get medical assistance. Tell her to communicate with her doctors and let them know she wants natural methods to overcome her addiction.

    Yes, she should talk with her attending doctors because trying out other treatments without their knowledge may disrupt the treatments they are giving your friend. That's what make doctors angry most of the time, when their patients try something else without consulting them.

    It's great to hear that she's improving. How is she now? Yeah, saunas are great for detoxification and relaxing.
