Took a couple more small injects and pitched the vial.* One thing Melanotan users need to be aware of and account for is loss.* I figure I got 16-17mg out of my 20mg vial of M-I.

Feel great at the moment, look great too...feel that the Melanotan One treatment hedges the ginger in me.* Once I can start viewing a tinge of red/orange in either my skin or hair...M-I comes in to save the day.* Presently I feel that I have the best set up for my blond hair, blue eyes...the skin tone just sets everything up.* I love it* 8)

Still no UV and I may have missed my derm appointment last week (whoops).* Report more as it comes

A little reflection on the results from the one vial/dose of afamelanotide....* I suppose the peptide and the at home injections, etc take up some time and around $75.* The results are subtle.* To the seasoned user it has value.* I realize if I were to have used this product initially (as far as melanocortins/msh) I would not likely have sung its praises - really doesnt do too much (which I have learned is desirable).* Now if I were to have gone through the process of seeing a dermatologist, paying through the nose and receiving an implant - I wonder how I would feel about the process/product* ???

It's a beautiful Sept day, Labor day weekend around the corner.* Applied sunscreen, but I figure I should also do some addt'l yard work.* This prompted the spontaneous 5mg MT-2 reconstitution.*

I took the 5mg MT-II out of the fridge.* The chilled vial of bacteriostatic water with it.

Figured a handful of low doses to place in the freezer would be nice

5mg MT-2 = 5,000mcg

desired dose]
1ml (same as 100 unit) insulin syringes

2ml bact water to mix/reconstitute the 5mg MT-2 peptide (small vial holds 2.5ml maximum)

each 10 units on 20 syringes should yield approx 250mcg MT-2 to be dosed subq

leave a little bit of air in the barrel when stored in the freezer.* syringes thaw quick when removed

-ended up with 21 syringes/doses.* mission accomplished.
