Hi all... my first post on .com* I used to follow the site on .org then it vanished.. I've now just found it again!
Any way.. I am fair skinned and burn quite easily without high factors.. Like most people that don't tan all I have ever wanted was to go on holiday and come back with a nice golden glow..
so after many years of thinking about taking Melontan 11 I plucked up the courage and started in January this year.. kept the doses low and built up slowly. after 4 weeks I started going on a sunbed once a week for 9mins..* My colour changed and I started turning a nice brown colour...* for the first time in my life I had a tan and boy did I feel happy... I even wore a pair off shorts in the garden without feeling self concsious about my white legs!
Then the nightmare began... I started noticing little dots on the top of my feet, I thought they were freckles from the sun bed?* however they started to spread and get larger. over a period of two weeks they turned into a full on body rash.. really scary!* * To cut a long story short it has been diagnosed as Vasculitis!* (google it)* I am on steroids and other tablets to control rash and the very sore ankle ulcers.
The treatment is ongoing and the consultant dermatologist is still to find out the cause. most likely the immune system fighting the blood vessels.*
As you can imagine I am totally gutted and hope that my health is ok... (My priority)*
Many people tell me that a tan is shallow but they are the people than tan ok and can't see how it affects me or those that are pale..
So my question is has any one heard of this type of reaction from this drug?
I bought the substance from a know source/gym where I train and know a lot of people that take the drug with no other side affects.* (I only had a slight flush when taking)
I so hope that it is not related to my Vasculitis and would appreciate any comments..
The rash was on my feet, legs and the inside of my arms..* It was worse on my feet due to gravity.. hence I now have some very sore ulcers.* ouch!* I have been prescribed prednisone steroids which has retracted the rash. its now gone. I've just got the ulcers.*
why do you think the MT could be the cause?* Have you heard of this before?
