Last summer was first go on m2, I slowly escalated to 1mg a day with sunbeds and then a holiday and here were some unexpected and as far as I can see seldom mentioned things that happened after approx 14mg total:
- hands went so black they were insane, even with strong factor cream
- creases in hands and elbows went dark brown
- palms in general were kind of brown
- injection sites around belly button are still dark brown after 6months and won't go
- gums had purple and brown patches before any sun exposure
- lips went dark and brownish
- moles went black and have never lightened again
So I'm interested to know if anyone has any ideas on why some of these happened and how I could stop them. I'm a type 3 ish, is it because I had too much melanin in my own skin? Did I not inject deeply enough? Is it a circulation issue?
Thanks in advance for insights
Particularly interested in the hands and injection sites thoughts
Re: Managing unexpected outcomes on m2: second season
all sounds normal to how you use the peptide to me. Nothing unexpected.
in a nutshell - you dosed way too high. combined with a probably good natural tanning ability.
It's a known thing that cuts sustained while on MT2 can take longer to heal or linger for longer. I'm unsure why that is, but i has been true in my experience also.
The creases of skin have looked darker for a few reasons. one is melanin receptor concentration, the second being the lighting effect that the crease produces simply making it appear darker.
did you do much research before taking this product?
Re: Managing unexpected outcomes on m2: second season
Thank you for these responses. Yes I really did read and research a lot before I started, from some discussions on here I gathered that escalating slowly to 1mg was the way to go.. Perhaps I should have stayed on a lower dose and given myself a lot longer...
Re the creases, the reasons you just gave ... Are they fixable?
Re: Managing unexpected outcomes on m2: second season
They will fade over time, I had similar dark patches that went away in 3-4 weeks after I stopped mt2.
Taper down dose to 250mcg and see how you respond. ]

Re: Managing unexpected outcomes on m2: second season
I did my first and last cycle of mt2 in the summer just past (14) basically I'm a type 1 and never had a tan. I thought I needed loads of the stuff so I injected 1 mg a day used about 40mg which websites sed was recommended amount for a cycle. I needed 14 sunbeds to get a lovely subtle glow then I went to Spain for a week and spent ALL day in sun as u do on holiday and basically things went wrong quickly. I tanned at a crazy rate darker than my friends who had been away to morocco beforehand. My stomach went extremely dark dirty looking. My hands went patchy and knuckle joints and creases were dark like u sed. My hands wer basically dark grey and it looked like I was wearing fake tan to be honest. Got loads of hyperpigmentation . After a few days I started avoiding sun but it was too late. Only wen I got home I realised ud been takin too much that 1mg a day too much. I went a bit crazy over it I posted things on here and contacted users for advice. I was very depressed cos I looked ridiculous and everyone back home thought I was wearing fake tan cud I was so dark and cos of my hands. Took ages to go away. 6 months later I'm somewhat pale. My hand are back to normal and frecles have lightened. However I'm not the colour I was before as I still have lines ... I'm pale but a different shade of pale. The experience was enough to put me off. The stuff def does work but u need to know what ur doing! And I never burned which was a plus for someone who fryed before. I know everyone will hav diff experiences but I cudnt go through with trying this again.

@Jessiex0x
I'm sure that you could have gotten a better experience of the melanotan, if you had known more about it, and had taken it easy with a low dose.
