    First time user log

Hi all, Have recently starting using MT2, I am a 21 year old male living in Australia, Skin type 1, prone to moles and freckles,
Here is my dosages so far.

    day 1 -100mcg
    day 2 -100mcg
    day 3 -100mcg
    day 5 -100mcg
    day 6 -250mcg
    day 7* -250mcg
    day 8* -500mcg* * -250mcg before and after tanning-
    day 9* -250mcg
    day 10 -500mcg* * -250mcg before and after tanning-
    day 11 -250mcg
    day 12 -250mcg

No side effects so far, Existing moles have darkened, And I've also had quite alot of new ones show up, Mostly on my back, As for my skin color, Indoors i look like i have some color now, not as white as a ghost like i usually am, but in natural light i look the same, My tanning has been small amounts 1-3 minutes in the sun with sunscreen on, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, I'm not very pleased with my progress so far, I think i may have rushed it and started dosing too high ?, I'm not liking the abundance of moles showing up, new ones seem to show up everyday even without sun exposure, Could this be to do with my doses ? should i drop down to a smaller amount ? Avoid the sun altogether ?, I can live with the amount of moles i have currently, but i feel if they keep showing up like this i am going to be covered head to toe !, My goal is obviously to obtain a nice tan, Any advice from fellow skin types would be greatly appreciated

Your probably doing it alright, keep at it. You could probably space the dosing to 500mcg to make it easier on yourself. Allow me to explain some of what's happening right now to you. First off the moles, moles can appear in area's that had previously been damaged by the sun(usually the damage has to be enough for it to peel). But not all moles are created equally, some are so faint that unless you were to examine your arms under a high powered lamp you would never be able to see them. These same invisible moles are now darkening so you can see them. As to why they are getting darker before the rest of the skin, it is because of how melanin works. Melanin(what makes your skin dark), does two things when exposed to the sun. First, it darkens any existing melanin, in this case your moles are getting darker but as a skin type 1 the rest of your skin's melanin is close to non-exist. Second, it begins to produce more melanin, this typically takes 48-72 hours for the chemical process to be complete. This is why it may seem like it's taking forever to get your tan, but in reality i'm willing to bet that for your minimum amounts of exposure your skin has produced alot of melanin. If you want, begin tanning in a 5-7 minute sessions on natural sun, and continue to increase the sessions as you darken.

Good insights and advice from Alex226. You're doing well, hang in there benjimanwilson. From my perspective this is a classic case of the 2nd week freak out. It stresses out most first time users when we experience change in our pigment. Rest assured it will only get better given your diligent dosing scheme (imho you did great on your dosages thus far). In the new year your skin will benefit from the melanin developed (while your sun damaged balances/blends).

Update, Went to have a skin check today, And the doctor said my moles are very bad looking and that i should stop using immediately, They where all the moles i've gained since using, any advice on this ?, Have i given myself melanoma ?, I've always taken good care of my skin, And the amount of sun ive had while dosing has been so small and always with sunscreen on, I have gained alot of moles, His concern was that they looked like they where growing, Im going to stop dosing and i have a another check up in 3 months, Will these moles possibly fade ? Has anyone had an experience like this ?
