    Day 4 - ITCHY skin

I'm on day 4 of 0.25 mg ED, and so far no side effects or issues up until tonight, my skin is itchy in this kind of burning , tingly way, mainly my arms, also if i scratch the skin it leaves red marks on where i have touched... kind of worried and on the verge of stopping the mt2, it kind of feels like the itchyness from a sunburn however my arms are not sunburnt.... I have probably got maybe 2 hours of afternoon sun within the past 4 days if it helps to know but I'm not sure if that makes a difference?.
    Can anyone help on this?

It definitely isnt a sunburn, i spent no time in the sun today and the sun exposure i have had in the past few days was definitely not enough to warrant a sunburn, im looking at my hands right now as in the past 30 minutes they have become furiously itchy, all red and blotchy and tingly, definitely not a sunburn.. but i find it odd that this is only happening now on day 4 ?.. The most sun exposure i got was about 3 days ago i think, could it be sunburn setting in from then ?.

Even though you've stated its your arms, I'm going to ask just to rule it out, is it around the injection site or all over the body? Injection sites can be itchy from poor penetration or a variety of small issues.

It could be a normal reaction, antihistamines will reduce this, the blotching is likely from the scratching. However it could just mask a serious issue.
Have you used any creams or moisturisers in the last few days on your arms?

Lastly, are you maintaining correct injection methods? You could have potentially contaminated a needle of your MT2 and are experiencing some adverse effects from this.

are you using Bac. water? if so it could be a reaction to it, stop for two days to see if it goes away* if it does , then try injecting again if reaction returns stop using Bac. water , i would try S C water then.

I'm using pre loaded frozen syringes (had to preload as i reconstituted with sterile water and not BAC). I use an essential aloe vera moisturiser every day on my arms and chest etc however that does not bring any reaction and I'm fine with it so it is definitely not that, in regards to my injection methods, there is no irritation or pain, swelling etc etc around my injection sites and i am very strict on keeping my injections safe (always use medical anti bacterial swabs before and after injection on injection area, only use a fresh new needle every injection and do not let it touch anything before injecting etc etc).

I have a feeling it might be a very slight sunburn as my arms are a very very faint tinge of pink / red, and putting aloe vera moisturiser on it did seem to calm it down at one point however it doesnt make sense that it is itching before or during the onset of the sunburn ( thought the itch came afterwards and in healing process) and the itching / tingling i am getting on my hands is definitely not a sunburn itch.

i'm really stumped on all of this and am quite scared to do my next injection :/

Could be a minor sunburn. The redness from a burn usually doesnt set in until 24 to 48 hours after exposure.

Perhaps discontinue usage for a short period of time, say 1-3 days to see if it subsides. If it doesn't then it's likely not the melanotan as you should seek assistance. If it does and comes back after your injection, it's likely to be the melanotan. If it goes away and doesn't come back it was likely sunburn.

It doesn't sound like an issue with the melanotan, as it's generally widespread if it was a antibody response or your peptide was contaminated. And as you've said, everything in that department is excellent.

Anxiety can also be an issue with situations like this and it's best not to get worked up or worry about the next one - all too often the symptoms you are experiencing are from anxiety and a placebo effect.
