    It freezes.
It's better to leave in the fridge, some Bacteriostatic agents can be damaged in freezing temperatures, this is why it states to store at 2-8C.

I had mine in the freezer for a few weeks. Put it in the fridge today, it has never been opened. Am I safe to use or is it a bust?

I believe any Bacteriostatic water containing benzyl alcohol (most popular Bacteriostatic agent) can be denatured when frozen. Other agents will vary.

Contact your supplier if you know who they are.

As a last resort, treat it as like Sodium Chloride.

It contains methyl and propyl paraben as the active agents. Are you aware of those?

I believe both of those are fine, I think methyl is the anti microbial and propyl is the anti fungal from what I remember.
They're also included in some dairy products, including ice creams, which are stored below 0C.
You should be good to go!

This is new information for me* ]I have always kept bac. water (benzyl alcohol, agent) in the freezer and thawed it when I needed something, and frozen it again afterwards.
So it is not recommended to freeze either bac. water or preloaded MT2-mixed syringes?

What your doing should be fine, the main issue is that if you freeze it and then let it thaw and then keep it in the fridge, there is the potential for bacterial growth the same as sodium chloride.
