    Measuring Dosage

Ok guys, I'll save the intro for my M2 Log, but I need assistance measuring for low dosage.

    I have 10mg M2 and 10ml Bac water (0.9%)

I understand this means 1mg per ml, but I wanted to start out on low doses of 25mcg once or twice per day. But the problem is my 1ml syringe means there'll be no margin for error to measure out 25mcgs.

I've read on here before of such small dosages, any advice would be great ]
Also just want to say, I really appreciate all the contributors to this forum, you're helping a lot of people and it's a lot better than the old one.

    Thanks

    Re: Measuring Dosage

hey onz, welcome to melanotan forum! look forward to your intro & log.

Do you have easy access to smaller syringes by chance? I find 1ml syringes are great for mixing the product initially, however, 1/3 or 1/2ml syringes offer greater ease when measuring small amounts.

By default, I seek the council of peptidecalculator.com. I calculate that when using a 1ml syringe, 10mg peptide, and 2.5ml bac water... >1 unit on your insulin syringe will yield 25mcg (it will indeed be difficult to reliably measure such a small quantity).

Maybe you have a 10ml vial or wish to use all ten ml to dilute your mt-2? If so, you may be able to mix your mt-2 (generally a 2-3ml small vial) and move to your bac water vial for usage. In this instance you're using 1ml syringe, 10mg mt-2, 10ml bac water...giving 25mcg dosage at 3units.

    Re: Measuring Dosage

    Melanotan covers everything perfectly here.
However, I would like to ask; what is your reasoning for a 25mcg dosage?

It would be interesting to see the outcome of such a dosage, as people use 100mcg ED with OK results, but not really much info on lower than that.

If out of worry, why not attempt a 100-250mcg dosage first to test your experience?
That way if you react OK, continue the dosage. If you react badly you can always add the MT2 to the bac water at a later date, reducing the dosage. However, if you mix it into the 10ml and decide 25mcg is too small. And you want to upscale it may get difficult. 250mcg would be 25 units, 500mcg would be 50 units, and injection at this volume would become uncomfortable.

    Re: Measuring Dosage

I was intending to use the whole 10mls of bac. water for my 10mg vial, LabPeptides you think over 1/4 of a ml will be uncomfortable? I though this would be fine because it's such a small amount of solution, in comparison to my previous experience with 5ml IM of cerebrolysin.

I arrived at this dosage from reading about the effectiveness of low doses on this thread http://melanotanforum.com/peptide-jo...-journal-2014/
My aim with such a low dose was to minimise sides, have more control over onset of mole darkening, get used to the compound, and I think I've read that more frequent dosing has been shown to be more effective. Also would like to try and reduce the libido enhancing effect because my gf is living overseas!* ]
    Thanks for your responses

    Re: Measuring Dosage

I personally find anything over about 30 units to be uncomfortable, but that could just be my psychological reaction as I'm not particularly fond of injections.
If you're used to larger quantities then I doubt it'll be an issue.

I like Melanotan's thread and dosing schedule and check in on it frequently.

Your plan sounds great and I look forward to seeing your log!

    All the best,
    Tom
