Why does MT2 induce moles whereas sun tanning does not?
I "naturally" tanned many summers as a teen and never got new moles or darkened freckles. I don't even think* I have freckles! But moles/dark freckles on MT2 is very common why?
Re: Why does MT2 induce moles whereas sun tanning does not?
MT 2 does not create moles or freckles, it darkens them. Many people have moles so pale they are invisible, mt 2 darkens them so it appears like they were created, however they have always existed. I can not speak for sure about freckles, i never got them while naturally tanning nor while using mt2, however, the same logic might apply.

I am also sure that I even had the majority in advance.
But I've definitely got some new freckles on my face.

Are freckles where there are a few extra melanocytes?
On that assumption I theorize the MT stimulates _all_ melanocytes equally
but since there are more under a freckle, it gets darker?
Perhaps sun does not affect them as much because they have more protection
from the sun?
