I've been using melanotan 2 for a few weeks now and on my first week i burnt a bit under my chin and around my eyes, i put suncream on that area for a bit to prevent any further burning. Since then everywhere else has tanned but certain patches by my eyes and chin just stay pale and keep burning.
I cant work out if i have a skin condition or if the areas are just behind with the tanning and need to catch up.
"
seems to me I once read that fungal* or yeast* infections will cause this , don't know if this is the case here .
"
This is a brilliant observation, I've known this to happen when tanning normally so should also happen when MT2 is introduced.
Depending where you live you can even try an over the counter solution. An antifungal cream such as Canesten would work.
Its something cheap to try before looking into other causes/
I've been reading up on Vitiligo and i dont think it's that due to the fact i didnt have this issue before using melanotan and my hair (stubble) is still dark. I've read that one of the symptoms of Vitiligo is whitening of the hair.
Do you think it would be sensible to stop the melanotan and see if it settles?*

Did you tan before using melanotan? It may be that it is bringing out the underlying skin issue.
I was thinking more of an issue like "Tinea Versicolor", as shown here: http://www.healthyskinmd.com/gdc/fungal-Infections
