    bloodwork next week

My blood will be checked next week. I've been using lots of melanotan over the last months but will they see it in my blood? I just feel healthy so that's not the point.

    Re: Blood work next week

Good luck Djen, as mt-anon-5000 stated - melanotan peptides are handled well, non-toxic, passing quickly through the body - never has my blood work shown cause for concern from melanotans

    Re: bloodwork next week

I've just had the results of my bloodwork. Hadn't told the doctor of my melanotan usage but she thought I looked dark.
Now it turns out that my adrenal glands have been overactive and I need an extra examination. She said it something to watch out for.

    Re: bloodwork next week

I haven't got them yet. Now the truth is: I've been exposed to a tremendous amount of stress over the last 18 months and research says it also has an impact on the adrenal glands. In a way it will be hard to find out what exactly caused it. My doc said: it's not alarming but definitely something to watch out for.

PS: I have more details, my glands produce too much cortisol. Don't know if it has anything to do with melanotan.

    Re: bloodwork next week

Apart from the cortisol my bloodwork was fine. Cholesterol and triglycerides ( bad lifestyle over the last few months) were a bit elevated so that's normal. All real blood stuff was normal.

Well wishes of relaxation & bliss your way Djen
Doctors seem to be providing similar diagnosis - are you a amphetamine user by chance? ADD/ADHD meds will wear on myself...curious about how cortisol was measured - interesting feedback

    Re: bloodwork next week

No ADD meds user. The cortisol was measured at night with a blood test. I've ashwagandha is good to reduce it. My red hairs darkened with melanotan but I got those greys probably due to stress ( a few yrs ago I had none at all).

I guess overall the melanotan seems to be safe. I think the cortisol is due to stress and not to melanotan ( I suppose).
