    Sun exposure

    Hi Chris,

Can you tell me if sunlight exposure is necessary for MT2 to work?* Having had melanoma I cannot go outside and lay in the sun, nor will I go to a tanning bed.* Will MT2 still work for me?

Some form of controlled UV therapy is in every success story I have read.* Melanotan II doesnt offer much value if sunlight is removed from the equation...often offers complications.* Problem is that melanotan will likely not meet your expectations.* Melanotan II is a poor and complicated route/means of sunless tanning.*

    Chris,
You are correct when you say sometimes "often offers complications without sun". After only 9 straight
days of 1/2mg of injections and no UV exposure I got severe constipation......so severe I was ready to go to the ER for relief.
Luckily the mineral oil kicked in and I was able to overcome this. I was unaware any UV exposure was needed for the initial 2 week loading period.

I can only surmise that one needs to be careful and drink LOTS of water when taking this stuff.

    Re: Sun exposure

This is probably a one off case and probably/hopefully most people will not experience this.
I did notice my neck aching intensely while I was taking the shots and residing a couple of days after stopping.
It is somewhat normal for my neck to ache at the end of the week from starring/craning my neck at the computer all day at work "IF" I am not conscious of my posture,* (I have noticed my co-worker complaining lately of the neck strain and she just turned 40), but with the M2 it really intensified.
Since posting this I am back to normal and might consider spreading out injections and try continuing on. The first* 4 days of 250mcg I had the face flushing and from Friday to Monday my face and arms turned a nice dark brown from very little sun exposure and I am still tanned. I was shocked how quickly it worked and have to wear sun screen on my face to avoid getting too dark.

How confident are you that you administered 250mcg per injection the first few days?* Facial flushing and pain I would assume would be very rare...but maybe not if a larger stout dose was taken.* 250mcg is 1/40th a 10mg vial
Thanks for the updates and guidance mellow

    Re: Sun exposure

    Chris,
Good question and have thought of that myself, but am sure I mixed correctly.* Earlier I posted pics of the syringe I am using which is a smaller 1/2cc insulin unit.
I put 4 (1/2cc of* baristatic waters (same syringe)* into the 10mg vial of powder to dilute and drew 10 clicks to inject* which to me equates to 250mcg.
I could be wrong but,* my wife complained of her feet aching while on and now that she stopped they don't....... So.... maybe I am wrong here on my math.

    Re: Sun exposure

I just realized the 5 mark=250mcg. I was taking 500mcg daily which would explain the sides. I think I started the first few days at the 5 mark then for some dumb reason thought it was 10 mark I was doing.
The few days the* wood thing hit me one Saturday out grocery shopping and thank goodness I had a loose tee shirt on.... it just went on for ever it seemed like.* ;D

Glad clarity on the dose was gained.* This is one reason why the 5mg MT-II peptide is adovacated

    Re: Sun exposure

It was stupidity on my part. I started out with the correct dosage and somehow got 10 in my head. That was way too much for me
for first time and my body was telling me that.
