When to discontinue MT2 usage prior to surgery?

Hey just curious when would you stop using MT2 if you knew you had surgery coming up? LASIK in particular is what I was thinking of. So slicing open the top layer of the eye and then the laser surgery, maybe this wouldn't have any effect? I guess what I'm asking is how long can you be confidently sure that there is no MT2 left in your system so you can heal without any strange scarring? Thanks

Not sure if it's the same for LASIK, but skin laser treatments (IPL, hair removal) and surgery recommends that you don't use a-msh drugs 3 months prior to the treatment/operation.

3 months is a lot. What if you have an accident, need surgery immediately having taken melanotan 2 an hour before. I don't know if it would have an impact on lasik surgery. I've had it in 2009 and used M2 the same week. Haven't had any sides.

You'll most likely be fine, it's just a precautionary measure.
You can receive discolouration to scar tissue if you have any a-msh present, even melitane and forskolin - and if you receive UV exposure to the tissue while still fresh.

LASIK should be different as it's the eye though - no melanocytes present.
