Completely new to MT2... never touched it. I'm probably a 1.5 or 2 skin type. I don't have red hair and freckles, but am pretty pale.
I'm interested in trying the topical from the AU group. I'll try to document any results here... will two tubes be enough for a solid test?
any suggestions on how often/how much to use? It looks like only two forum members tried it. One with no results reported (yet), the other with results. What's the test-flow?
apply everyday, get some sun after first 4-6 days? Then repeat?
I will try to read up more, but anyone willing to quickly get me up to speed here-- greatly appreciated.
There is A LOT of new vehicles out to deliver large molecules... have you guys looked into any?
e.g. liposomals?
or check these guys out]
I'll post more vehicle info later...
well, no replies from any other users of this topical....
HOWEVER
The packaged arrived today. It was labeled as some copper peptide (on the far outside shipping packaging). Which I thought was sketchy as it makes me think there is some issue shipping this outside of australia or something-- which was not my intention.... and either way I don't know what to think of that.
ANYWAY
I suppose I will apply a small pea drop under the arm pit once a day and go from there.... unless somebody has a better protocol.
Glad to hear someone else is giving it a try. Although few seem to believe me, it has worked great for me. I have been using it for a little over a year with great results. Just be consistent in applying it and have a little patience.
Chances are you'll notice nothing, as I'm sure it's 10mg in 30ml of solution, it took girlwhite ~30 days to use half a bottle, which is 15ml, or 0.5ml a day.
That's 1.66mcg/ED, but they state a 60% absorption which is 100mcg/ED.
However, 60% is a very good transdermal rate for most molecules, let alone such a large one as MT2, which is more realistically 0-30% (0mcg - 50mcg).
At these doses you'll be very prone to notice anything.
Also take into account it'll take you 2 months to use 10mg, so that'll probably be when you start noticing anything, if not later.
Best chance scenario is that you're on the tanning beds getting next to no benefit from the cream and just tanning naturally.

Assuming the product is not totally bunk (i.e. zero absorption), then isn't it just a matter of using more?
For me, sub-q is too time consuming... between ordering everything, manging everything, mixing everything and loading up and shooting it everyday-- you're talking several hours a month. I maje $175/hr so all that time wasted would be costing me upwards of $700/month of hours I could have been billing... so even if I had to use an entire tube of the topical melanotan (or eve two), I'm still better off.
That and I hate needles.
Of course, if the absorption rate is 0% than my above logic is voided.
but if this stuff works-- WOW. It's literally a 2 second process. Squirt some lotion out, wipe, done (again, I'm talking about topical melanotan here).
I've timed it before, and it takes me about about 8 minutes to mix up a batch and load 20 syringes, then injections are a matter of about 20-30 seconds - however I have been doing it a while and have experience.
I can understand the convenience, though. Although when it's half as effective, and about twice the price of subQ/nasal (100AUS/50GBP/75USD), it does begin to even out.
As an example, 10mg of subQ will yield 10mg for £25 ($40).
However,* 20-30mg of topical will yield 10mg for £100-150 ($150-225).
Have you ever considered a nasal spray, as it's been proven to work and works out as slightly less effective than subQ?
It only takes a couple of minutes to set up, too, then it's just a matter of a couple of sprays a day.
They aren't ideal, but they do work. Just make sure you get one that's slightly thicker if you do try, that way it doesn't just run down your throat, but stays on the mucus membrane for absorption.
Right. so. Hello world.
I have decided to buy the Tanexin cream from the australian site.
I am very good at noticing little changes on my body. My skin type is probably type 2. I do eventually get a tan, but its only ever very slight, and it involves quite a bit of not safe Australian summer tanning to get it. Currently I am completely white as I have been avoiding the sun entirely for 1.5 years.
whiteguy if you have any tips, they would be greatly appreciated. Where exactly do you apply it, and do you rub it in fully or just partially? both sides? I'm guessing not actually in the armpit since sweat might disturb it.
Did you notice the tanexin cream darkening where you applied?
Do I have to worry with overdosage considering it is transdermal and people usually inject much more?
If I actually become actual tanned you bet I will sing it here from the rooftops, but I assume I will only get a very mild effect if any at all.
I just apply a small amount to the underside of the upper part of my arm (bicep, not underarm) and gently rub it in. Since it is so easy to apply, I do it at least a couple of times a day in the hope of maintaining a steady low level of the drug in my system. I have not become incredibly dark and tanned, but it definitely has given me a moderate tan, with minimal sun exposure (darker than I have ever been before).
