So after a long time of researching i've finally decided to start my M2 cycle, i'm about a week in at the moment.. started off with one day of 50 mcg, then two days of 100 mcg and have moved up to 250 mcg for the past four days.
I have freckles and a lot of moles so my plan is to keep it as a low dose regime, i would say i'm skin type two.. i can tan but it takes awhile. I have brown hair but my facial hair comes out ginger haha.. so the darkening of facial hair is something that i'm looking forward to.
My plan is to stay at this dose but if i feel comfortable with how things are going i may move it up to 500mcg.. but will definitely not go any higher than that. The reason for doing this is also because i have a lot of freckles and moles and if things don't go the way desired i will pull the plug and not have too much m2 built up in my system. A lot of my friends have done m2 cycles but the way they have done it seems to be completely different to the way its advocated on here. They will dose 1mg daily, then tan for periods of 30 mins to an hour + and get the colour they want.. very quickly and in excess of the reccomended 3 times a week tanning. Some of them go ridiculously dark, they look like they're from africa ]
Currently i have only been out in the sun once, for around 10 mins.. i can notice the freckles on my face getting slightly darker.. which i have quite a few but it doesn't really bother me.
I just have a few questions,*
since i'll only be tanning 2 - 3 times per week, 10 mins each session outside.. do you think sunscreen is still necessary? i don't think i will burn in that period of time.
also after i've injected myself, there appears to be a little bit of liquid inside on the syringe.. is this normal? have i given myself the right amount and is it just excess that the measurement accounts for?
I will provide some updates, considering it's hard to find information on people who have quite a lot of moles and freckles and the results they've had.
Your friends are following outdated and dangerous advice; its that advice that gives melanotan a bad name!
We like to look at it very differently here, I'm glad you're being sensible!
I personally use sun cream all the time, even if I have a good tan or won't burn, although normally I have longer exposure than 10 mins.
I do find that it helps minimise my freckles, but that's probably just a psychological effect and I have no sources for that claim.
As the the residue in the syringe, that's fine too. Its because of the minute amounts it looks like more than it is, as long as you pushed the plunger all the way in it'll be fine!
just a bit of an update!! so i've finished one vial, i'm on my second one now. been on 500mcg for the past 2 weeks i think..
moles have definitely gotten darker and some have popped up, i have quite a lot anyway but its not really too concerning. freckles have also darkened.
have been getting little bits of sun for short periods of time and my face is starting to get darker, my arms too.. my facial hair is also starting to get darker* 8) but still some tinge of ginger is coming through, i'm guessing that it will go away as more builds up in my system and i actually get darker...
planning on getting some serious sun soon, hopefully i've loaded enough to start going darker ]
I would recommend putting factor 50 sunscreen on face/ and over moles. Then I always use between factor 15-20 everywhere else when using sun beds.
I am skin type 1-2 and melanotan is very effective for me with doses of 0.3 for the first couple of days then 0.5 for the rest of the cycle.
Okay so another update, I'm like 5 or 6 weeks in now I believe... I've loaded around 2.5 vials maybe slightly more and finally my body is starting to go a nice gold colour !!
My face and arms are definitely darker than the rest of my body but it's not bad, finally I'm getting pigment all over my body and i couldn't be happier, I think I'll finish this vial and try and get to the ideal colour over the course of the next two weeks then use my last vial for Maintence.
My moles definitely got darker / slightly changed and some of my freckles
Darkened but that has seemed to stop.. And now I'm getting a nice gold glow woo!!
Once I start Maintence, will having 500 mcg every 5 days allow me to keep my dark facial hair or will it go back to its original colour?

Thank you for the update meeks. In my experience, dosing 500mcg every 5 days would not be sufficient to maintain dark facial hair. However, had you inject 100mcg daily, you would indeed be able to keep dark facial hair.... Maybe you could find a number/frequency in between and report back your findings? Best of luck!
Okay so just an update, Around halfway through March I started reducing my dosage because I started to get really dark and just wanted a nice gold glow, so I started taking injections less and less and now I'm pretty much doing injections every 4 days.
My facial hair is starting to come out its original colour again but I'm guessing that's due to less of the peptide being in my system. also I've noticed I get side effects like flushing and sometimes stomach aches after most jabs now.. I think it's cause there's not much of the peptide in my system though.. When I was doing 500mcg Ed for a month plus I didn't get any of these symptoms.
I'm unsure whether I'm going to continue after this vial finishes, I've had a lot of moles pop up over the course of my m2 experience. I even booked into a quick skin cancer clinic to assess these changes and he found that two on my face and one on my leg should be cut out, so I opted for a second opinion from my actual dermatologist who's a lot harder to get into but managed to see me urgently.. He said he couldn't see anything wrong with my moles and just told me to visit him every 6 months at least ans take photos of my body if I was going to continue using m2.
All in all it has been a life changing experience to be able to Goto the beach and take my shirt off and not be Pastey white, also the facial hair is a compete added bonus. I don't know if the changing of moles neccesarily means you will be more likely to get a skin cancer because of it or it's just simply increasing pigmentation and darkening, however I would just warn people that if you naturally have quite a lot of moles, expect a significant amount more to emerge. Regardless of whether you have freckles or moles m2 is very effective and if you do decide to use it all the best with your experience ]

I can confirm that if you have moles, more moles will pop up while you are on m2. As stated above, i am not either sure if its because of the increased pigmentation, or it actually means your chances of getting skin cancer has slightly increased. If anyone could give an answer about it, would be great!

If moles become pronounced while on MT2, it is attributed to the increased pigmentation as injecting melanotan does not mean your chances of getting skin cancer has increased. Tanning on melanotropin, however, may offer increased visibility had skin cancer concerns come to a head.... It's good to get checked annually as an MT user.

Thanks for the update Meeks! I become sensitive to MT2 after 3-4 days of no dosages, daily or every other day dosing helps desensitize/mitigate potential side effects.
