    Colonoscopy

Just wanted to share some information. I just had a colonoscopy done and I was a bit worried. Before they preformed the procedure they asked me over and over in detail what medications I was on it was important to tell them if I was allergic to anything at all. It may sound stupid but I was worried about mt2 since I'm on the loading phase and wasn't sure if I'd react to anything. The kept asking me if I've ever had heart problems and everything in between. I was given Propofol 450 mg via IV. Everything turned out ok just wanted to post this info for anyone worried about it in the future. I know I searched and couldn't find anyone who had done it and was taking mt2.

That is a good point to be worried about, I'd never thought of potential drug interactions like this. You didn't mention it to them when you said?

No because I was sure they wouldn't even know what it was. I also hadn't taken it since yesterday so I figured as long as I hadn't just taken it I should be OK. Plus all the other stuff I've taken over the years I'm sure it's been worse in my body lol. I just took it now again after the procedure and am doing fine. Guess I was the Ginny pig! Slightly off topic but while I'm here mind as well ask. Has anyone ever died from mt2 reportedly? I've looked and can only find half of one article. Says they found her dead and she was known to have taken mt2 but never said the cause of death. If I had to guess they were unrelated but still wondering. I use to inject this stuff like it was going out of style without a worry in the world. Not sure why I'm so nervous now lol.*

The article you've read is the only thing ever found. And yes, you were right about her death being unrelated, it turned out and I'm not even joking, that her death was a result of her tremendous weight, 350lbs (160kgs). If I remember right, it was a heart attack.

    Here is the link]
On that note, it's amazing how they turned it against Melanotan 2. The way the article sounded it she injected Melanotan 2 for the first time before her death. Since when is Melanotan II cyanide?

the only thing I can find on Propofol and MT2 is it might heighten the affect* of the propofol* and the key word is might.

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/skin-cancer-burns-indoor-tanning-salon-injuries/

Tanning beds send a decent amount of people to the every year, and one of the common reasons is fainting. This persons death is almost certainly related to that and her weight, instead of melanotan.

If she dosed a ridiculous amount, then MT might have contributed to her death in addition to her weight and tanning bed use. This person injected 6mg and had some fairly serious symptoms but ended up fine http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23121206

Also, remember than Scenesse (MT-1) has been in trials in hundreds of participants over the years and has been approved in two countries for EPP and used by ~50-100 people there. Haven't heard anything of serious side effects or serious interactions from them.
