Hi!
I'm skin-type 1-2. Mild red hair, some freckles, and able to get some tan. Not completely ginger with powerful red hair, a lot of freckles and no tanning abilities.
I started on MT2 one month ago. I've been doing 0.25 mg every other day. Been tanning 12 minutes in tanning bed every fifth day, except the last two times, I've done 14 minutes.
I'm now very happy with my tan. I'm not really brown, but that was never my goal. My goal was to just become "normal" and be able to get a tan with natural sun and don't get so easily burned.
I'm also worried if I continue on this dosage it will be "too much" and I will look unnatural, get this clear side affects like white spots, very dark spots etc. So now I just wan't to the right maintenance dosage for me.* As i mentioned earlier my current dosage has been 0.25 Every other day.
Should I now inject at the same intervals and lower the dosage, or have the same dosage and inject more rarely?
we tried .025 twice a week wife got darker on that level , tried .010 every other day wife got darker we tried* .010 every third day ,finaly settled on .010 once a week, stayed* same shade on that but we got sloppy on dosing later in the winter so we lost some tan , you will have to try* different doses and time* to get your desired apperance , that was our experience anyway.

Welcome gingertan, nice topic - great results insofar* ;D
As usual, insight from jim c. is fantastic - less is more & it's good to allow the pigment to lean towards the pale/natural side (as compared to the foolishly dark and unnatural appearance) during maintenance (imho)
How have your freckles reacted to the tanning + MSH (melanocyte-stimulating hormone, potent analog MT-2)? Does your hair appear more blond (vs. red/strawberry)? Teeth whiter? Beard darker? Skin more oily?
Keep your Melanotan 2 dosage between 100-200mcg - dose when convenient (as few as 3-4x and as high as 20 dosages/week), dose before outdoor/synthetic exposure of course
Reduce/remove tanning salon visits - couple 10-20 minute doses of sunshine should suffice
white spots are certainly natural...they are subtly present on my arms/legs - as long as you're aware & listening to your body, the tan should be relatively easy to balance - nizoral/head and shoulders shampoo can also help those who may encounter a condition from dirty tanning beds...
Thanks again for sharing - very helpful/inspiring - keep up the good work!
- Have not noticed any change in haircolour yet.
- have very little facial hair so I'm not able to evaluate that.
- I do think my teeth has become whiter.
- No change in freckles, but got more moles, and some of them has gone darker. Some of them are almost black (one or two.)
- Have got some pimples. Almost never had any before, now I got a few. But it's got better lately.
- Notice that I have som light "shades" in the skin. Specialy on the thighs, and a bit on the stomach.
With this dosage I'll never experienced any instant sideaffects like nausea, erection, higher sexdrive or less hunger.
So the dosage can now go from 0.25 mg EOD to 0.2 mg two times a week?
Thanks for the great help. Hope to continue sharing experiences on this forum. People in Noway inject themselves with 1 mg a day over a longer period wich shockes me. No wonder som many people got side effects. It would also be very expencive. Their vial lasts for 10 days, Mine lasts for 80 days if I keep a stable at 0.2 EOD.

Thank you again, you're a role model for best practices
Many do dose melanotan peptides at shocking-high levels. Some feel they really need to feel the product (to validate legitimacy or test limits...?) - my .02 is to avoid/minimize the negative side effects (as I believe many are sensitive to the product...)
I like your plan and dosing strategy - best of luck* 8)
I'm now positive that my hair has become lighter/blonder.
Have almost no noticeable freckles.
When it comes to the more pale areas of skin on my thighs I'm going too se my doctor as this also was at place before MT2. Now I got more tan, it's just more noticeable. I got a suspision that it's a condtion called pityriasis versicolor that I've had on my stomach earlier. As I understood it's just a fungus thats natrual all over the body, but it gets "overgrown" some places. So I'll see if the doctor get me any treatment or he sends me to a specialist.
Should I upload photo of both the results and "problem area" ?
Hey guys I also have a question regarding maintenance dosage : Once I get the color I wanted, will injecting the maintenance dose be enough by itself or will I still need UV exposure to "oxidize" the constantly created melanin (created by the maintenance dose of melanotan I mean) ?

A little update on effects here. I'm now positive that my hair has become lighter/blonder. Have almost no noticeable freckles.

Way cool about the hair - the darker canvas looks great w/ lighter colors* 8)
I notice my color in photograph (day to day, it's hard sometimes...imho)
Keep us posted & best wishes, would love to see photos - very helpful!

Hey guys I also have a question regarding maintenance dosage ]"
With regards to maintaining, yes indeed, injecting the small intermittent dosages should suffice without the need for UV exposure.
A few minutes of UV is a luxury to look out for, no doubt* ;D A mandatory need? Nope.*
Tanning beds can often be troublesome - I'd apply some nizoral to the quads (2% Rx dandruff shampoo if accessible) - Area should absolutely recover* 8)
This were present before I started on MT2 and tanning. It just wasnt possible to see due to the light skin. But I saw it when I was on the holidays earlier. I use a standing tanning bed so I have no direct contact with the surface.
since you had this condition before and after treatment it was ok , then after treatment now it should be the same, as a side note fungle infections never realy leave your body, i have reoccuring bouts of jungle rot almost 50 years after contacting it in nam.
Been to the doctor now, and he said that this is not the same condition I had earlier on the stomach. This is a different area and different condition that was not present before MT2. So I'm now being sent to a specialist. Did not mention MT2 to my doctor as I wanted a "neutral" evaluation. And I don't belive he even know what it is. The the specialist I will tell that I use MT2.
Will update you on this case. but it can takes months to get a appointment with the specialist!
Been doing some research online. And I've seen there is alot of people with the same problems, using melanotan. Espescially on the legs. Some areas have the same tan as rest of the body, with other areas thats darker, and some are lighter. How can this occour even at this low dosage?
Looks like very homogeneous kind of freckle area. I think it's pretty much the same as freckles regarding the reason and the effect. It just looks a bit different because the melanocytes affected by this are bigger but not that intensive affected.
Freckles can just look so differently. Just my interpretion of your skin.
have noticed that a lot of people that tan (on MT2 or not) tend to get blochy looking areas on the* upper legs* might not be anything wrong but have it checked out to calm your self.

I'm sure this is not is not a health danger. But I most certain haven't got anything like this when tanning without MT2. Niether anyone else I know. And most people from my area tan intensivly when being on holidays when we dont got alot of tanning abilities due to a cold summer.
My doctor was pretty sure this was not the same condition I had earlier. That was fungus and is normal. But now with time I see this uneven pigmentation is from ankles and up to my tanningline at the top of my thighs.
Haven't tanned or done any MT2 for almost three weeks, and it is still very noticable.
Got a appointment to the specialist the 17th of june, so I'll guess I know more by then.
blotchy* was the wrong choice of words* should read uneven tan , and most of thoes i know , here the tan on the upper legs particulary on the inner thighs is this way .
