Questions about my first injection

I just did my first injection of MII...I mixed 2 mL sterile water and injected .1 mg.* I only pulled it up to the first tick line -- does that about right?* I got a light pink area around the injection site --is this due to the sterile water or improper injection?

Sounds right.* Was the injection deep enough?* Very likely the sterile water irritating....

I generally sink it

gauge the thickness of the skin & subq layer (should be able to feel when the liquid wants to be administered...don't force anything)

lean areas I sink a short needle or put a long needle part of the way in (and/or angled...)
