i was lookin at user logs on another site and this kid in the following link got a shitload of freckles and it does not look very good... is it rare to get this many? if i stick with a dose of 0.4 is it likely i will get this many?
(sorry - link removed)
for the record i do not freckle at all when i tan naturally with just the sun.... and i dont have any moles on my body and i only have like 10 freckles at most on me (all on my arms but kinda light)
Freckles are with you from birth basically...melanotropins are not for the extreme cases.* .4mg is still a stout dosage to work up to for tolerance/sensitivity/tanning.* If you do not freckle naturally...MT-2 will bring some out of the woodworks (they will fill with dark concentrated melanin at super-speed) - but should not effect one with just a few moles and freckles - you're good jmfj!* 8)
very nice! and i think you mentioned in a different post that side effects are reduced with amount of use so is this stuff safe to use on a yearly basis?
like say i were to buy 60 mg a year and run that 60 mg over 8-9 months, then take 2-3 months off of it and then start again is that safe you think?*

Been using for 5+ years, not being off for longer than a couple months
Yr 1 might have been 200mg
yr 3 could have been 100mg
yr 5 could have been 70mg
...rough estimates off the cuff for a ginger/pale person - certainly is a commitment
i was just reading something about freckles and this one site says this]
"To reduce the chance of this effect you should initially not inject more than 2-3mg of Melanotan II into your body between each tanning session as it's hypothesized that tanning evens out the concentration of melanin in the body and prevents it from accumulating in existing freckles/moles (which are natural concentration points for melanin).
Similarly, to reduce the risk further, you can take a smaller dose and less frequent injections than is recommend and allow your tan to build more slowly." (europatan website)
do you agree with that?
for me, i was hoping to inject for about a month (0.35-0.40 mg a night) until i get UV exposure for the first time... would that be a bad idea? i would have about 12-15 mg of melanotan in me before i even see the sun/sunbed... good idea?

I disagree with less frequent injection theory.* My position is that MT-II peptide needs to be administered at low doses, often.* Goal is also to NOT tan...or tan less, etc (my assumptions for safe/advisable usage).* Advising tanning strategy is such a difficult subject...I commend that site taking a generalized stab at the equation.* Doses between tanning allow the user to enjoy MT-II for the positive effects and keep the newbie user away from disaster (tanning at super-speed on super-potent hormones) & looking foolish/ill.
Problem is, assuming you are the best suited candidate for experimentation/therapy...skin type 1's are likely to be sensitive.* Melanotan 2 side effects come from not being desensitized (often - you are a freak/minority if you can handle a 2mg MT-II dose without building up tolerance).* When the body is not ready for a super potent melanocyte stimulating hormone dosage, a histamine response will likely leave you tired, feeling like shit, nauseated, achy...headaches and possibly spontaneous uncontrolled erections - there is an art and strategy to dose and properly utilize MT-II
Your idea is excellent.* Take time to dose MT-II low for awhile.* The winning formula is how you basically outline. Listen to your body and gradually adjust to the hormone and then move onto UVR exposure.* This way the peptide will not ruin your meals/timing, leave your sick or horny (out of your control) and tan you past what's considered healthy/beautiful (super-physiological tans too far out of bounds look like freaks).* I caution cause it's best to learn from others mistakes - it's true, with too much MT-II, anyone (sorry, no albinos) can become TOO tan!
It's been about a month since dosing and i have almost completely avoided exposure on my face. Some freckles have faded, some are no longer visible (you might say disappeared), and there are still some very prominent clusters.
If you feel them unsightly and find that you freckle significantly after sun exposure then i would proceed with caution, if at all. You might not like what you uncover.
Without the peptide I can get a healthy and natural looking all over body tan with the only freckling occuring on my forearms. It is so minimal it just fades into the tan as my color darkens. My face has always been hard (almost impossible) to tan and i stopped purposely exposing it as it only resulted in sunburn and damage. I would have never considered myself overly freckle prone, but i ended up finding a whole army of them wanting to show themselves just days after i started to introduce the peptide.
Start slow, stay low and even quit while your behind if you have to. If things do go wrong, it can take months for your skin to return to its normal state. The more of the peptide you have put in your body, the more pronounced and longer lasting any negative outcome may be.
I personally wasn't overly bothered by the freckles. Sure, it would have been nice to just get the tan, but at the end of the day it was still an overwhelmingly positive experience.
Hope my ramblings help at least someone out there considering experimentation.

Very helpful, thank you Spor - love the story and advice here.* It is interesting how freckles behave.* I too have noticed the pattern of some fading/disappeared & then the prominent clusters.* At the end of the day (the journey and all the hassle...), Melanotan is worthwhile 8)
