Well, i'm not convinced that the nasal administration of this product is the way to go. I've tried the "insulin type" injection and it was painless and effective.. so although i had a slight effect, i'll be sticking (sorry) with what works for me.. 1-2mg of the product mixed with bacteriostatic water..
I do it just like this chick does it... and it's effective and works everytime.
From Palatin: *It also makes sense to change to the subcutaneous route of administration. bremelanotide (PT-141) (bremelanotide) was originally developed as a subcutaneous drug. Switching to an intranasal route makes it easier to use, however, the nasal mucosa is extremely vascular. I can see how some patients can experience a sudden rapid absorption which could lead to increased side effects. Subcutaneous administration likely has a slower, more controlled absorption. It also lends to the development of a depot formulation. I also don't think a subcutaneous route would necessarily detract from its use since many of my ED patients give themselves intracavernosal (penile) injections of vasoactive agents.
PDE5 plus PT141 subq really works almost too well and really goes the full 36 hour duration.* For me this can draw attention away from other things we sometimes have to do in life.* Again for me it takes about 4 hours before they both work together.* PT141 2mg subq + Aspire36 (or 20mg Cialis)
I suspect the nasal form might work a bit faster and probably maybe of shorter duration.
Will have to experiment here...* Thanks for the posts.
Enjoy.
My husband and I tried the PT141 in this manner but I didn't get as good of a response, I mean I did respond but the "insulin injection" was much more effective.
