I was trying to write about a different topic today, but I could not help myself. As you recall, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) asked Congress for $1.9 billion dollars to research the Zika virus. Yes, that is the same virus that has been around for nearly 70 years and has never been shown to cause any serious problems. That is, until a doctor in Brazil reported an association with Zika and microcephaly. However, an association does not equal causation.
At the same time the CDC was asking for nearly $2 billion to study and develop a vaccine against Zika, The World Health Organization stated in its Zika situation report, “No scientific evidence to date confirms a link between Zika virus and microcephaly…” (1)
However, the CDC doesn’t seem to understand how science should actually work. On April 13, 2016—seven weeks after the CDC requested $1.9 billion dollars, the CDC announced that the Zika virus was, in fact, “…a cause of microcephaly and other severe fetal brain defects. (2) Furthermore, in the same press release, the CDC stated, “This study marks a turning point in the Zika outbreak. It is now clear that the virus causes microcephaly. We are also launching further studies to determine whether children who have microcephaly born to mothers infected by the Zika virus is the tip of the iceberg of what we could see in damaging effects on the brain and other developmental problems. We are working to do everything possible to protect the American public,” said Tom Frieden, M.D., M.P.H., director of the CDC.
Unbelievable. The Director of the CDC states that Zika is confirmed to cause microcephaly and other fetal brain defects without a single, rigorous, study to back this up.
How does this happen when Zika has been around for nearly 70 years without ever being shown to cause microcephaly or other fetal brain disorders?
I can tell you how this happens; Money talks. The CDC is looking for any excuse to convince Congress to free up nearly $2 billion to manufacture a vaccine that is simply not needed. The truth is that once you are infected with Zika, you are immune to it. A vaccine for Zika would probably be easy to manufacture and would bring untold billions of dollars into the coffers of the CDC and Big Pharma.
Does Zika need to be studied? Yes. Could Zika be causing microcephaly? Doubtful. We are not seeing an epidemic of microcephaly in any other area of the world other than a small area of Brazil. We should study this area of Brazil and see why they are having a rise in fetal disorders. As I stated in the previous blog about this, this same area of Brazil is where pregnant mothers were vaccinated with MMR and whole cell DPT vaccine. Furthermore, they were also exposed to insecticides and pesticides. Maybe one of these items is responsible for the microcephaly problems.
In the Miami, Fl, thanks to manufactured hysteria by the CDC, we are now spraying toxic pesticides to kill mosquitos in Zika-infested areas. What is that pesticide? It is Naled. (3) The same Dr. Frieden from the CDC stated, “We are very encouraged by the initial results, which showed a large proportion of the mosquitoes killed.”
Perhaps he is out there counting dead mosquitos.
What about Naled? It is a very toxic substance to all living beings, including, you guessed it pregnant women. Naled is an organophosphorus compound that can cause tremor, incoordination, headache, respiratory depression, wheezing, fluid in lung, respiratory depression, and seizures (including many other awful conditions). Problems with Naled can come from inhalation, skin absorption or ingestion. Naled has been shown to contaminate ground water and is highly toxic to birds, fish, bees, and deer. One study found pregnant women living near farms where pesticides like Naled are sprayed had a 60% increased risk of having a child with autism. (4)
Folks, I don’t know what more to say. We are living in very strange times. The CDC is a lost cause. They need LESS funding, not more. In fact, the CDC needs to be dismantled. They are clearly not working for us.

Well written and to the point. My company has been detoxing heavy metals and chemicals for nearly 20 years and I can say that the pesticides sprayed will cause many many more problems than Zika. And those problems will be worse and longer lasting.
Finally !!! Some one to put an end to all this madness , I heard someone say why are people so worried About this Zeka, it,s been around for decades Thank you ,and I blame the media and the cdc for freaking people out , they wont see any of my money !!!!

This is SO disturbing! I recently saw the movie Vaxxed and this falls right in line with everything the film documents regarding lies and corruption. We are poisoning ourselves in every single facet of our lives. The same philosophy of money wins over health and safety is happening with our food supply and our water resources too! How do we put a stop to this? It seems other countries care more about their people than we do? I feel so helpless. Will it only be once the majority of children are born with disabilities costing the tax payers trillions that we do something???

Once again you are spot on. There are known neurotoxic effects in using pesticides, yet these effects are not relayed to the public before they are being used. So now, if there are birth defects, it will solely blamed on the Zika virus. What ever happened to “Ar first do no harm”

I have read and followed your Blog Posts for a long time. I agree completely in your assessment of the Zika issue. The CDC, FDA and others, are all run for the benefit of industry monopolist and are corrupt in every sense of the word.
My frustration surrounds the fact that we, individually, don’t seem to be able to effectively right any of these wrongs!!!! The atrocities continue. As an example, take GMO labeling. We can’t even get GMO ingredients information about what’s in our foods published??? Millions of dollars, falsified reports, politicians on the take, media outlets in the pocket of big agra, pharmacy and other industry giants and associations, all working against concerned citizens. Look at all the stomach and digestive problems we see today! Maybe glyphosate (Roundup), a “probably carcinogen”, in our food, water, and gut, could be causing these problems? This is but one major issue that needs correcting immediately.! Our food supply is in danger!
How can we win this war against those with lots of money and influence? The status quo is not acceptable! Your thoughts?

What is really sad about that is who sponsored that bill that effectively outlaws GMO labelling. Who sponsored it? My Senator–Debbie Stabenow. I am totally dumbfounded how a Senator that champions the rights of the people can sponsor such a bill like this. It was a sad day for her and us when that bill passed.

It’s totally ridiculous how money is wasted on stuff that is not needed! The spraying of pesticides has me worried the most because that’s what I feel is causing many many problems today…. We need to stop that not develop a vaccine (that I would NEVER take).

Now I may possibly work on generating some compassion for people like this professor who’s work may appear to rely on CDC issued reports. However, I agree that “the CDC needs to be dismantled”. Vaccines are big business so any excuse to create one ensures big money. I’m also sure that as per CDC style, they created a patent for a Zika vaccine years ago, like they created a patent for an Ebola vaccine decades ago… ready for the first excuse to market them. Yes, the do nothing congress worked in our favor on this one but they should have subpoenaed whistleblower, Dr William Thompson, to hear his testimony on the CDC’s coverup on the MMR vaccine causing AUTISM.
The CDC was to be axed by President Reagan when surprise surprise we suddenly had an AIDS epidemic and the CDC claim that they had found the cause: the HIV virus. Well that horrific disaster was caused by the CDC, and the many investigations proving it should have been sufficient to dissolve the CDC for forever. But like Monsanto, Merck and other shady corporations, charities and agencies, they got away with it! We’re headed for very scary times if this trend continues much further. My solution is to make it illegal to place a patent on vaccines, drugs or seeds. I’m positive we will see a dramatic rise in health and wellness as these corporations lose true their incentive for “caring” so much about our wellbeing. That’s if the motive is money and not something more sinister.
(There are ample books and videos by qualified sources verifying my claims.)
