I am tired of writing about this, but I feel this issue goes to the heart about what is wrong with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC says it is “saving lives, protecting people”.
What nonsense.
Folks, when you read this, I think you will come to the same conclusion I have: The CDC must be disbanded. They simply are not capable of ensuring our safety as they are bought off and owned by Big Pharma.
The CDC has asked our do-nothing Congress for $1.9 billion to study and develop a vaccine for Zika. Thankfully, our do-nothing Congress did not fund this goose chase as Zika has never been proven to cause much more than a self-limited benign illness in nearly all who have acquired it. And, keep in mind, a lot of people have been infected with Zika as it has been around since 1947 and infected tens of millions of people. And, those infected with Zika over the last 60 years have not suffered with microcephaly. Only a small portion of Brazil has suffered with a microcephaly outbreak. Other areas of Brazil and many other countries that surround the Equator have not suffered with a microcephaly outbreak.
So, why am I writing about this again? Today, Big Pharma Takeda announced that they will receive (hold your breath) $19.8 million from the U.S. Government to develop a vaccine against Zika. http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-takeda-zika-virus-0903-biz-20160902-story.html
Let’s look at the facts about Zika. The facts are:
- A microcephaly epidemic occurred in NE Brazil
- Zika was never shown to cause the microcephaly epidemic in NE Brazil
- Zika is rampant throughout Brazil including the Amazon where there is no microcephaly epidemic
- Colombia which is next to Brazil studied 12,000 newborn babies and found no microcephaly cases even though Zika is rampant there
- Because of the microcephaly epidemic in NE Brazil, the CDC wants $1.9 billion to study and develop a vaccine from a virus that has NEVER been shown to cause microcephaly
I would guess that a vaccine against Zika is relatively easy to manufacture as immunity from Zika is guaranteed from having acquired Zika.
I could think of a lot better ways to spend $1.9 billion. How about taking that money, disbanding the CDC and starting over with an independent Government agency that has no Big Pharma ties. And, let’s ensure this new agency works for us, not for Big Pharma.
That would be a start.
I am hoping this is my last post about Zika. I am also wondering when the time will come for us–the citizens of this wonderful country-to stand up and say we have had enough.

The more I hear the TRUTH about vaccines, the more anti-vaccine I become. Vaccines are a huge money-making deception that profits Big Pharma. I just learned since the passage of The National Childhood Vaccine Act in 1986, the Pharmaceutical companies are protected from liabilities from vaccine injuries and death, so that explains the big push for vaccines the past 30 years , it’s highly profitable. I now see signs at the gas station to go inside and get my ‘flu shot’. Virus outbreaks are sensationalized all over mainstream media to scare people into taking the next new vaccine to supposedly ‘protect’ them. Of course, they never mention all the toxic poisons inside these vaccines, and that these poisons go ‘full dose’ straight into your bloodstream, no filtering through liver and kidneys. It is all a huge money-making scam.

Glad to hear that you think Zika is a hoax as does naturalnews.com and naturalhealth365.com. Not that I’m surprised. I agree that the CDC needs to be disbanded and defunded and way before they want to quarantine people who they think, whether it’s true or not, look ill.
When the zika virus first became public and said to cause the above, Dr. Sircus who lives in Brazil put out his newsletter speaking of the genetically engineered squitters that had be released in the country earlier in the year.
Could supposed harmless genetically engineered sqitters adapt with natural sqitters and then evolve or produce into something that is bad, cause disease? In my opinion, YES. Expect more GE critters to evolve.
I agree that unfortunately this is the way the powers that be are slowly (or not so slowly) debilitating & killing off the human population. This is all very prophetic & is why it’s critical that we know our creator and have a relationship with him. The Lord God, He IS our hope. Microcephaly has occurred in the U.S. and elsewhere for many, many years. Just because a case of microcephaly occurred in the U.S. does not make Zika a cause of microcephaly. What do I think? Read my previous posts.

I agree that the CDC needs to be disbanded immediately. In fact we need to disband all the alphabet agencies, I don’t believe any of them care about the American people, all they care about is money and power. The Constitution does not give the power to the Federal Government to create or fund these alphabet agencies. It’s high time we as a country get back to
understanding our Constitution and making sure that the Federal government only uses the powers the Constitution allows.
When you Google the Constitution to read and understand what our Republic really is make sure you get the original and correct Constitution which is ” the Constitution for the United States of America” make sure it says “for and not of”

I think their 19.8 million bucks will also fund CDC’s unprecedented power to impose its new “rules” across our nation, which was published on 8/15/16 by CDC.
This is the first I’ve heard of a new CDC “Rule” and there is a limited time we have to publicly comment on such a frightening loss of freedom.
In the new CDC’ Rules for the Control of Communicable Diseases’, the CDC currently gives itself the power to forcibly apprehend healthy people en masse. They propose a future where we are detained indefinitely, with no process of appeal.

If we continue our silence, we are in for a very rude awakening. CDC needs DEfunding and disbanding. We do need a different agency, I agree with you Dr. Brownstein. I’m so curious about what you think of this new rule CDC is asking for public comment on. The proverbial handwriting is on the wall. I really don’t want to spend my summer at Camp FEMA. I’d rather be writing home from Camp Granada (remember that funny old song?)

The CDC is merely in step with the WHO, who began this debacle, with the hopes, yet once again, of creating a world-wide pandemic and panic. As the previous efforts failed miserably, the propaganda machine has been ramped up to hyper-drive this time around. Many more people have become privy to the ill-repeated modus operandi pattern, which sorely discredits the agencies involved in this ‘game,’ making time the new critical factor if agenda goals are to be achieved.
So they’re shoving it down our throats in all of its illogical and unsupported glory… we just have to keep pushing back harder than ever!

This is not any different to CDC, AMA, FDA and other government organisations being full of people who act for the industry and not for the benefits of the people. They actively disparage and intimidate any opponents of industry whether medical, food production or any other interests even disappearing folk at times if that is called for and from the top down are corrupt. Its a lot more than just this one committee that needs cleaned out. We may well start at the head of government down but then the sheep would be lost without being told what to do.
We should never stop letting people know and keeping others informed as slowly some will see the sense. Its the standard 3 segment approach of any ideas being 1). Rejected and ridiculed, 2) tolerated and finally, 3)Accepted.

Most people don’t know science and when someone makes them afraid they will do anything like take a vaccine for Zika etc. The American people can’t think well….gluten/dairy/soy/sugar/GMO/pesticides/chemicals/Roundup/colorings etc are hurting their brain/body. They will believe what the TV says since they trust it and think that is reality. $1.9 billion and maybe 3 researchers working on the vaccine? 3 salaries for a year may help more than billions of dollars. The American government is bankrupt…is in debt. Just say research and a person can get millions of dollars. I have seen many research articles and to me they are way behind since they don’t know the basics for health and try to make one thing work. They don’t have a background in Alternative medicine so the answer is always more chemicals/tricks to turn off something etc and not natural ways to deal with health issues. I saw a group of graduating Chemistry majors. They were very arrogant when I said only use the chemistry for good..not making pesticides/drugs that hurt. I am sure they are looking forward to a big pay check/big money and the next generation is hooked on making more things that destroy people/nature.
Spraying poison and then flooding happens…many may get sick. People want perfect 1 species lawn and use chemicals and think chemicals don’t hurt. Pets may get cancer from chemicals and people’s health may suffer/go downhill. I currently have Lyme/coinfections, but the answer is not Deet for prevention. Sunscreen is not the answer for sunburn and it blocks Vit D being made. Chemicals/new drugs daily that may hurt people. They are blocking new supplements from being made, but not new drugs. They fast track some new drugs and people may demand them and give research money for them, when the answer maybe to change their diet to organic/no gluten/dairy/soy/sugar/GMO etc.
I would like to see chemistry clean up the oceans/land/soil/water instead of polluting them.
We are fighting an uphill battle. Just this morning I heard a doc on Fox News tell us that vaccines have nothing to do with autism. What rubbish! Keep up the good fight, David!

Dr. Brownstein, I always appreciate your blogs and books. In this case I completely agreed with you until I read some information that leaves me a bit confused. I read that in the lab, they have infected mice (or rats – don’t recall exactly) with Zika and the rats had babies with microcephaly. Is this a new strain of Zika? What could be going on to cause microcephaly in rats if the microcephaly in humans has only been observed in a region of Brazil? The same region where a Sumitomo larvicide has been also used to treat the water?

I understand your frustration … but PLEASE don’t stop writing about this (and all vaccines) … someday we will all understand why scientific information is essential … but that day has not arrived … especially in congress.
