The FDA is still at it. On the homepage for FDA.gov, it states that the FDA is “Protecting and Promoting Your Health.” You have got to be kidding me. The FDA is too busy doing the bidding for the Big Pharma Cartel to worry about the health of the U.S. I have chronicled the FDA’s problem in previous blog and newsletter posts.
Now, the FDA wants to destroy compounding pharmacies. I have used compounding pharmacies for years in order to provide safe and effective medications, bioidentical hormones, as well as injectable forms of vitamins and minerals. Under the guise of protecting public health, the FDA is trying to ban the delivery of compounded nutrients delivered by an IV route—unless they are on some FDA-approved list. If this bill passes, you may not be able to receive IV nutrients such as vitamin C or natural forms of vitamin B12. I have been administering IV nutrient therapies for 20 years. IV nutrient therapies are safe and effective. It is unbelievable that the FDA would have the power to ban these items. And, if this bill passes, I would bet money that the FDA will move to ban IV nutrient therapies. I guess I missed the research showing how dangerous nutrient IV’s–like vitamin C or vitamin B12–are.
You see, the FDA is not happy. Because of the outcry by the U.S. public about the Senate compounding bill, which was defeated, the FDA is trying again to put all compounding pharmacies out of business. The new bill—HB3204–is in the House of Representatives and is expected to be voted on Monday. This noxious provision was just attached. I can’t wait to see which genius congressman attached this rider on the bill.
I encourage each and every one of you to call and write your congressman and tell them to vote “no” on this ridiculous bill. The FDA has been unable to properly regulate Big Pharma. Now, they want to clear the playing field for Big Pharma and get rid of all compounding pharmacies. Maybe we need a bill banning the FDA?
