Unbelievably, this is book number 14. Often, I am asked, “How do you decide what to write about?” The answer to this question is easy. I write about what works in my practice.
I have been practicing and studying holistic medicine for over 20 years. During this time, I have found many natural therapies that work well and others that don’t. In the case of ozone therapy, it is one of the most exciting and effective medical treatments that I have seen. I believe that ozone therapy should be taught in all medical schools. Ozone is a colorless gas that occurs as a natural molecule. It has the chemical structure O3 in contrast to the oxygen that we breathe—O2. Ozone is highly absorbable in the human body. Ozone is produced by exposing oxygen molecules to an electrical spark. During a thunderstorm, when lightning strikes, ozone is formed. That sweet smell during and after a thunderstorm is the smell of ozone.
Medical ozone can be produced with an oxygen tank that is connected to an ozone generator. The ozone gas can be collected in a syringe where it can be injected into the body. Ozone can also be administered many ways including topically, rectally, and vaginally.

Minnie: Just read about Dr. Frank Shallenberger along with 20 major topics he covers in his report[s]. He covers the powers of Ozone along with combinations of other medical sources and their ability to repair damages to the body. Dr. B refers to the ICIM as a good source of MDs trained in Ozone. I used the information to find two Drs. no one close by: 1. about 130 miles away the 2nd DM about 350 miles away. The question comes to mind: How far am I willing to travel for good medical care. I have read that some people will travel to Mexico and / or Europe for treatments that are not available in the USA.

I just wondering about the safety of Ozone. Most bottle waters these days add ozone to their water but every time me and my husband drink this kind of water we get lots of mucus and start coughing a lot. It took us a while to find the reason for our cough but after a while we figure it out. Now we only drink ESKA water or filtered water with Zero water filter, and we are ok. As soon as we will drink any other water which says ozonated on the bottle we get the cough.

Ozone should not be inhaled. IT can irritate the lining of the lungs.

Helene: I had bone on bone arthritis in my hip and was using a cane and a walker until I had prolotherapy and my hip regenerated cartilage. My doctor did not use ozone but prolozone works wonders. Conventional doctors know nothing about arthritis and will tell you that cartilage does not grow back! Not true but it takes some work.

Yes…don’t breath the ozone into the lungs, but it can be used to clean out sinuses.
I am doing ozone treatments right now for Lyme at the acupuncturist. Ozone helps me eat more starch/sugar as it kills the Lyme/coninfections….cleared my head/thinking…..gums are more pink…precancer is helped..,,.scars look better. I have MS due to Celiac. Ozone helps raise oxygen in my body/brain for about 4 days. It may help the vagina be healthy. Ozone maybe put in ears/nose/used with acupuncture/put in the vagina or rectum or in a sauna with the head sticking out. It costs about $60. I do it once week. I feel better. Workers at the Clinic enjoy it also…feel better.
Ozone rebuilds CARTILAGE? I thought nothing did??

I have a picture in my book of an 80 year-old patient’s knee who shows bone on bone arthritis. She was recommended to have a knee replacement. Three ozone shots later, all arthritis symptoms resolved. A follow-up x-ray shows her cartilage came back. The case history is described in more detail in my book.

Hope the above questions are answered. I have looked for an integrative functional physician but there is not one within several hundred miles, so I don’t expect the ozone therapy to become available for the interested consumer.
I had a tooth that was infected up to my eye socket. Had it removed and still had the infection. Had a shot of ozone up there (hurt like the dickens) and within 24 hours..it was all better.

It is not safe to inhale ozone gas. I would suggest finding a knowledgeable ozone practitioner to start with. They can help guide you on dosing, amount, etc.

Will there be coverage of how you can affordable do this at home? I’ve researched my area and there is no one who does Ozone therapy. It would great to be able to do this at home!

Ozone can be used at home, but you need to be educated about it first. I suggest finding an ozone-literate health care provider. Start with a holistic practitioner and hopefully they can guide you from there.

Without giving away too much of the ‘plot’, have you devoted any time to the study of ozone and Parkinson’s Disease? Is ozone a substance that passes the blood-brain barrier?

First, it is best to work with someone knowledgeable about ozone. I suggest working with a holistic health care provider who can help guide you. Go to ICIMED.com–that is a group of holistic health care providers. Once you are educated about it, ozone can be self-administered. I describe these different ways in my book. However, it is best to start with someone knowledgeable and experienced with ozone.
