In Ferris Bueller’s Day Off–one of my favorite movies— Cameron said, “I am not going to sit on my ass as the events that affect me unfold to determine the course of my life. I’m going to take a stand. I’m going to defend it. Right or wrong, I’m going to defend it.”
I think we could all take Cameron’s advice to heart. I did.
One of my patients, Steve, informed me that my Synagogue of 15 years, Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Hills, MI, decided that if a child does not have all of his/her vaccines they cannot attend their preschool. My patient was very upset as he informed me that both he and his wife were not comfortable giving their children all the vaccines that were recommended and they wanted to space out the vaccines. These parents are both intelligent and caring parents and had done their research about childhood vaccinations. Steve said, “Nearly all the {Detroit} Jewish temples {such as Temple Israel, as well as Hillel Day School and the Jewish Community Center} are mandating full vaccination or your child cannot attend. I can’t believe this is happening.”
In Michigan, in order to attend public school, the citizens are allowed a medical, religious or philosophical exemption from childhood vaccinations.
Steve told me that he met with Rabbi Miller at my temple to discuss his concerns and that the Rabbi was not receptive to his viewpoint.
I called Temple Beth El and asked if they had indeed instituted this new vaccine policy as I was not aware of it. I did not recall seeing this new vaccine edict in any Temple Beth El publication. I was told that this was the new policy. At this point, I told an employee that I could not be a member of a Temple that supported such draconian policies. The employee asked me, “Why does this affect you as your kids are older?” I stated that I do care because my patients have children and I do not feel the present vaccine program is safe as it injects children with toxic substances such as mercury, aluminum, MSG, and formaldehyde. At this point, the executive director asked if I would meet with the Rabbi to discuss my concerns. I agreed to meet.
My wife Allison and I met with Rabbi Miller. At this meeting, I introduced myself and let the Rabbi know my concerns about forced vaccination. Specifically, I told the Rabbi that following the recommended vaccine schedule exposes children to toxic doses of mercury, aluminum, and formaldehyde. Furthermore, I told him that Temple Beth El’s interest should be educating the members about Jewish ideas and practices, not mandating or opposing medical therapies. “I don’t think Temple Beth El should be making medical decisions for me or my children,” I stated.
The Rabbi began our discussion by asking me what I thought about Christian Scientists who do not believe in any medical therapies. He brought up children with pneumonia dying from not receiving antibiotics because the parents did not believe in conventional medicine.
Needless to say, that was not a good start to the meeting. I reminded the Rabbi that I was not a Christian Scientist and that I recommend anybody suffering with pneumonia to take an antibiotic. I informed the Rabbi that I was concerned about the vaccination policy. He stated that he could not argue the science with me but that vaccines have been proven safe. At this point, I stopped him and said that thimerosal has never been proven to be safe to inject in any living being and that it never would be shown to be safe as it contains 50% mercury by weight. Mercury is one of the most toxic substances known to mankind. I informed the Rabbi that the flu vaccine contains 25,000 times the upper limit of mercury in drinking water as established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Allison asked the Rabbi, “Why should you care whether my kids are vaccinated? If you believe in vaccines, then vaccinate your child and you don’t have to worry about my children.” Allison repeated this statement twice to the Rabbi but he did not answer.
The Rabbi then asked me why he should care about the few parents who do not vaccinate. “If 99% of the parents support this policy, then why should we go against it?” I stated, “For centuries, Jews have supported minority rights. And, why can’t parents do their own research on vaccines and make their own decisions? Why do we need Temple Beth El telling them what to do?” Furthermore, I asked, “Why was there no member input on such an important decision?” There was no answer given.
The Rabbi said the science was settled on vaccines; they are safe and effective. I told him that simply was not true. I reminded him that the AMA and most doctors said that cigarettes did not cause lung cancer for many years. I told him that doctors said DES was safe to give to pregnant women and now, generations later, children are still being born with birth defects due to DES.
I reminded the Rabbi of the story of Dr. Semmelweis. In the 19th Century, childbirth was associated with a high maternal mortality rate. Dr. Semmelweis proposed that the practice of a doctor washing their hands before delivering a baby reduced the mortality rate by 90%. He published his results. For that crime, Dr. Semmelweis was thrown out the medical society and not allowed to practice medicine again. At that time, most doctors did not believe that washing one’s hands had any benefit. They ridiculed and ignored Semmelweis’ findings. In fact, doctors did not begin to wash their hands before delivering a baby for nearly forty years after Semmelweis’ study was published.
It is time to make a stand. Vaccines are not safe for everybody. It is not safe, nor is it ethical, to inject mercury, aluminum, or formaldehyde into any living being. If you feel that way, you must make your voice heard. I know it is hard to do as many people will look down on you. But, so be it.
If your dentist still uses mercury fillings, let them know you are unhappy with this practice and find a new one. If your doctor promotes vaccines with mercury, aluminum, or formaldehyde, tell them you object to this practice and find another. If your Temple, Church, or Mosque mandates toxic vaccines, tell them you disagree and go somewhere else.
We do not (yet) live in a totalitarian society where we have no rights. Cameron, in the Ferris Bueller movie was right. It is time to get off our asses and make a stand.

It is not easy and as folks like Deitrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Niemoller did and paid the price. May their name be sanctified among the righteous people in Heaven and for future generations.
I have a very different story regarding immunizations. My 12 year old son has asthma. We did choose to vaccinate & spread them out. Our pediatrician used thimerisol free solutions.& spaced the vac out. Last summer he contracted pertussis (whooping cough). He was one of the 20% that the vac did not take. He was so so sick, for 9 months he coughed. He ended up on 3 courses of antibiotics, 6 courses of oral steroids, 3 ER trips, 7 office visits, 2 chest X-rays & 4 blood draws, 2 new inhalers & 16 days of missed school. He coughed so hard he threw up on numerous occasions & was tethered to a nebulizer for months. The incidence of whooping is increasing & the number of those vac goes down & herd immunity is important for those who are compromised. If my son had not been so strong and healthy before the contraction of the disease, it could have been disastrous. I feel pretty strongly that vaccinations are important. Small pox & polio vaccines have certainly shown how much benefit can come from them. Even chicken pox an be devastating to those with compromised immune systems. Having seen children with severe chicken pox, in the hospital, it is not always a simple “scratchy rash” Shouldn’t we be working on/demanding vaccines that are free from the toxic substances? That seems to bethe biggest issue. Help me understand this better.

As a longtime special education advocate and the author of the #1 bestseller, Secrets is a Soecial Education Advocate,I discovered a couple of years ago that half my practice were kids with vaccine injuries. I was forced to do the research. I’m wondering if this is a “follow the money” scenario and there is a large donation contingent on vaccination. Wondering if the next step will be to enforce yellow stars for the unvaccinated at services and other synagogue events. Also wondering if they’ll keep the kids with vaccine injuries in the preschool as behavioral issues are not so rare when it comes to vaccine injuries. Please go to your board. This is one Jewish commandment we don’t want to be contagious across the country. (Is there a vaccine for that?)

My response to that blog post appears on that page, but I’ll copy it here:
Ms. Rubin, I think it is misguided to refer to “vaccination,” as though all vaccines were equally safe and effective, and as though all diseases were equally dangerous.
They are not.
You also don’t mention the fact that the Jewish community (and US society in general) does not offer ANY support to those whose children have had severe adverse reactions to vaccines.
The US Department of Health and Human Services has VERY quietly conceded and compensated thousands of cases of vaccine-induced brain damage, neurological disorders, paralytic disorders, and autoimmune disorders–but those thousands are only a tiny fraction of what has been reported. Most people don’t know that there is a voluntary (but ONLY voluntary) reporting system for vaccine reactions, have no idea that vaccine manufacturers cannot be sued for adverse reactions, and have no clue that there is a 3-year (from date of vaccination, NOT from date of symptomatic onset) statute of limitations to file a claim against the government.
Those who have gone through the “vaccine court” and won have universally reported that the government did everything possible (including extremely unethical tactics) to discredit them, to avoid admitting that vaccines caused harm. And even those who have won do not usually obtain settlements large enough to pay for their loved ones’ medical bills. Cases are immediately sealed, so that cases cannot be used as admissible evidence in future cases, and petitioners are subject to gag orders (though some have risked their settlements to come forward with their stories).
Tell us how the Jewish community is supporting such victims?
I must correct your statement, “It’s impossible to argue with the research from countless scientific studies and medical professionals who are unequivocally pro-vaccine for healthy children.” Have you actually READ that research? Because I have–not just the abstract, and certainly not the ghost-written-by-the-industry articles describing the research. I read the RESEARCH–I crunched the numbers, I looked at exactly what demographics were in the study/control groups, whether a true placebo was used, and what exactly was being studied. Have you?
I found quite a bit to argue with. The research that supposedly proves vaccines “safe” is seriously flawed, and there IS mainstream research that suggests some serious safety issues with many vaccines. There is also mainstream research (from the gold standard of mainstream medical review, the Cochrane Review) indicating major efficacy problems with some vaccines.
To be honest, the research indicating serious problems with vaccines isn’t perfect, either–but the flaws there are usually comparatively minor. The point is, there IS mainstream research indicating major concerns–that right there contradicts your assertion that “it’s impossible to argue.” So is the fact that most of the supportive studies are invariably industry-funded, industry-designed, industry-directed, industry-interpreted, and industry-ghost-written. Those studies that are not from industry are from the government–the same arm of the government who purchases the vaccines from the industry, whose watchdog committees are actually staffed by industry insiders. That’s called “conflict of interest” in EVERY other industry, and should be in this industry as well.
As Jews, we OF ALL PEOPLE realize that what the majority believe is not necessary correct. Am I right? So how can that be even part of your argument?

Hello Dr. Brownstein. Love your work. We live in Scottsdale and have heard the same vaccine edict’s exist in our synagogues. For Judaism, of all religions, to restriction our freedom is really mind-numbing. Persecution for thousands of years is not enough?

We circumcised our first son. It was a horrible mistake. Our second son is “intact”. Mutilating an infant, whether male or female is inhumane and child abuse.

Ellen, it seems that people think that vaccines work only if everyone is vaccinated. It’s a lot like witches, if you stop believeng in them, they just disappear.
I always wonder what would happen if things were the other way round. What if Governments banned vaccinations, or forbade people who vaccinate their kids to go to Government’s schools? Wouldn’t that be outrageous? How mad would “normal” people get in that situation?

Thank You Dr. Brownstein for standing up, but hope we all can hear your real message; that we all need to stand and be heard.
We all need to have the conversations, we do not need to win the argument in the first round. We just need to continue to educate ourselves on the facts, have the facts available to share when we create a crack in some ones conventional medial paradigm.
Do not be the angry one! No one hears you once emotion comes out, stay calm and loving. Do not stop, if you are shouted down. Remind them that they are worthy of the discussion, and capable of defending their points on facts. My favorite line in the movies is from the Tom Hanks film “Big.” He is in a meeting with executives from a toy company discussing potential new product lines. He reviews a toy, and makes the simple statement “I do not get it” “Why is this fun?” In the calmest tone I can muster I use the “I do not get it?” line. It allows the other side to present facts. They realize they do not have any, or they are not conclusive. Over time cracks in there beliefs are made. This is hard. It is hard to speak up. It is hard to stay calm. It is hard to remember how dear life is, and we want our loved ones to have long healthy and happy lives. Keep speaking and trying, who knows how far the ripple you make will travel.
Most of us writing had a long walk to get to our understanding of the truth. We need to pave the way for others.
Why would the rabbi care if your child was not vaccinated. If all of the other children have gotten the vaccine then they supposedly could not catch anything from your child anyway!
This seems to be the thin edge of the wedge to me. It is in effect a means of instituting compulsory medication to the people, much like the fluoridated water issue. This has implications of a very unsavoury nature and ought to be resisted on every turn. What is the hidden agenda here? The integrity of the pharmaceutical industry is best judged by their past actions and claims of safety when the reality is quite different. There are many drugs of a now, proven to be dangerous nature that were subject to litigation resultant from deaths and all manner of injury to the people that used them. The vaccines are just another in a long list of dangerous products that are sold to support their bottom line. It is reasonable to expect strenuous denials of harm along with a concerted marketing campaign which is what we see. Nothing has changed. We see strong censorship applied to the science that is distributed and punitive action taken against those who are brave enough to demonstrate the fictions presented to us. I applaud Dr Brownstein for the work he does.
Mary, I contracted measles 13 years ago from my husband’s vaccine before a mission trip. The doctor said, “That’s not supposed to be possible, but those are definitely the symptoms.” Fever and a hot rash on both legs. Not a big deal, really, but I definitely got it from his vaccine.

Safe and effective? I have read that measles is actually being spread by vaccinated persons caused by the vaccine.
Bravo Dr. Brownstein. I agree with everything you write with this one exception. You comment: “Vaccines are not safe for everybody.” The truth is, vaccines are not safe for anyone. To understand this, as I know you do, one must first understand what ingredients are in the vaccine (they vary from vaccine to vaccine) and then one must understand what action these ingredients have in the body.
The following is from a letter to the editor that I sent to the leading newspapers in Canada following a particularly egregious article (the article appeared on the front page of all these papers) about our ‘safe and effective’ H1N1 influenza vaccines, and no, my letter wasn’t published in any of the papers. As we know, truth is the first casualty of war and when it comes to FORCED vaccination, know that this is war.
My response:
“…here is a partial list of some of the common ingredients (and their effects) found in various vaccines, including the influenza vaccines:
Note: Not all ingredients are found in all vaccines.
• Formaldehyde: The US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) allows no more than 0.016 ppm (parts per million) of formaldehyde in the air of new buildings (off-gassing). The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) states that formaldehyde is “immediately dangerous to life and health at 20 ppm”. So how do our flu vaccines rate? They range from 25 to 100 mcg (micrograms) per dose which equates to 50 to 200 ppm per dose. The Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) describe formaldehyde as carcinogenic, mutagenic and possibly teratogenic.
• Gelatin: There is a strong relationship between systemic allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, and the presence of gelatin. Allergic cross reactions also occur to gelatin containing foods. Is it possible that the epidemic of allergies, asthma and food allergies in children may be related to gelatin in vaccines?
• MSG: Neurotoxin (excitotoxin).
• Polysorbate 80: It can cause anaphylactic reactions and has been linked to infertility in animal studies (yes, it’s in the Gardasil vaccine). It has also been used to facilitate the passage of drugs across the Blood Brain Barrier (BBB). Does Polysorbate 80 facilitate the passage of other ingredients in the vaccine, such as mercury, to cross the BBB?
• Thimerosal: Thimerosal (mercury) is a known neurotoxin (excitotoxin). Many multi-dose vaccines still contain mercury at a dose of 25 mcg per shot. Mercury is considered by toxicologists to be one of the most poisonous naturally occurring substances on the earth.
• Triton X-100 (Oxtoxynol-10): This chemical is an immunotoxin and a known mitochondrial disruptor. Interestingly, autism and other neurodegenerative diseases are now being labeled as mitochondrial disorders.
While this is just a sampling of the horrors found in today’s vaccines, most people are content to roll up their sleeves and accept the consequences. I have rarely, if ever, met a person that even checks to see what the ingredients are in the vaccines they take, let alone understand what they do ‘in’ the body. Sadly, this includes most health-care providers who give the vaccines. A pox on them all.
In closing, let me say that I stand shoulder to shoulder with you Dr. Brownstein. If we must ‘wander’ let us wander in the light of truth. God bless.

Tomorrow I go before the veterinary board in my state because a complaint was made against me, the first in my 34 years of practice. The complaint was not for killing a dog or removing the wrong leg but for educating pet owners on a national webinar about vaccines and natural alternatives. Apparently, education is heretical.
This practice of vaccination is more like a religion than most religions and defies all science, common sense and compassion.

It’s worse. Last Fall, one of my students in our MBA program, who was a radiology supervisor in a hospital, told me hospital employees who would not be vaccinated with flu vaccine were fired. Is this typical of health care organizations?

The powers that be state vaccines are 100% save. With over 50 different toxins, chemicals, metals and known carcinogens
how can they possibly be safe. What will happen to these children as they age? What’s the trade off later in life. I much rather deal with measles, mumps and chickenpoxs. We are suppose to believe 100% safe when the pharmaceutical companies are the biggest fraud perpetrators in this country. They are fined and sued over and over. Plus the CDC lied about autism. How can we trust? Why is there no liability for big Pharma when it comes to vaccines, hit in their pockets they might make vaccines safer. Our country has 5% of the worlds population, but we consume over 80% of the world’s medication. We don’t have health care, but sick care. Our kids have record numbers of autism, adhd, learning disabilities, these are mental conditions. Since the mid 80’s these conditions have been on a fast moving rise. Guess what the majority of these children have in common —VACCINES.
I’ll add my thanks to the others. I used to give these things to infants. Then came the Hep B. vaccine. I thought it was insane to vaccinate newborns for an STD. I didn’t have to do it until they are 1 month. I was still bothered.
Then I reacted to the 3rd Hep B vaccine I was “required” to have. No one would believe me, except teachers who were also required to have this monster. I’m no longer a nurse for well over a decade. I don’t miss this cultic profession.

I ‘vote’ that there’s a very strong possibility that the synagogue people absolutely don’t know about the clear dangers of many vaccinations because apx 80% of people I talk to do not realize but have fallen for media hype. So education is KEY! Unfortunately TV, media, mainstream education of physicians is totally opposite and all for the almighty dollar!
Dr. Brownstein, this is currently happening all across our state and county. Is it time to form a larger legal action in order to bring this into the Michigan courts and legislature? I feel like we need an organized effort to present contradictory evidence and also show the coercive tactics of big pharma before they entirely remove all vaccination exemptions.

I was reading this to my husband and he said, “Are vaccines kosher?” We are Christian – not Jewish so we don’t know. But, if a food must be kosher, what about something that is injected directly into one’s veins?

I agree with all your arguments, Dr Brownstein, and it seems that the Rabbi thought that being an educated man he must know all the arguments to do with vaccination, but was proved wrong by you and your wife – if he will only admit it.
It has crossed my mind that perhaps the decision to insist that every child be vaccinated was something to do with someone saying that there might be a lawsuit if a child became sick and it was found that another child had not been vaccinated (yes, I know, if they believe in vaccination then surely vaccinating their children should be enough, as you pointed out).
If there even is a possibility that this is the case, then perhaps a formal letter to the Rabbi pointing out the nasty things in vaccines might help, as might the statement that since there is a policy to exclude children who are not vaccinated from the school/preschool, then were a child to be vaccinated and then (Heaven forfend) became ill/disabled as a result, their family would surely have a case against the school/preschool for effectively forcing them to have a vaccination – in other words they could be sued for their draconian attitude, particularly since you have sent them in writing a list of the horrible things that vaccines contain.

When the Gardisil vaccine came out I did not let my daughter have it even though the Dr and her friends tried to shame her to have it. I now see so many horror stories about this vaccine, I am so glad that we made our own decision on that.
@Jeanette, regarding fetal cell lines in certain vaccines. Check out cogforlife.org. This is a Catholic (lay?) organization that isn’t anti-vax, but opposes vaccines cultured in fetal cell lines from aborted babies. There is a list of problematic vaccines there. A 2011 article there on Dr. Theresa Deisher states:
“According to their website, http://www.soundchoice.org, 90% of children vaccinated in the last 10 years were most likely injected with aborted fetal DNA components. More ominously, these fetal DNA contaminants could lead to serious health consequences and may be contributing to the rise in childhood leukemia, autism and other autoimmune disorders.
“SCPI has done the research to show it”, stated Dr Deisher. “We measured the level of fetal DNA in vaccines and are now researching the consequences. Even the FDA has acknowledged the dangers of having fetal DNA contaminants present in our vaccines. Just how dangerous remains to be seen, but it’s unconscionable not to do the research and find out.’ “
Hi, I left a dentist when he put a mercury filling my my son’s mouth. Now he is not using mercury on kids/adults and is detoxing…hair is pure white due to the detox and fellow dentist has pure white hair. They may realize they need to save their own life. My dentist who took out my mercury fillings died. I wish I could have helped him…cancer from intestines to liver…to me was Celiac and had heavy metals.
Tell Rabbi….if 1/2 of the kids will be Autistic soon, especially boys, how will that kill the church going strong. I would home school if needed. God is real. People need to not be “sheep” lead astray. They need to not destroy brain/body with vaccines. Pets are also hurt by vaccines. Many pets are dying early due to them and gluten/dairy/soy/sugar/GMO which hurt people also.
The Rabbi is operating on fear. Ebola got the fear started and now transfer it to measles and vaccines. Flu shot etc..not needed….2000mg of fish oil daily stopped my colds/flu for more than 20 years. Young kids…get hurt more.
He trusts science more than God? He thinks man’s ways are smarter than God’s ways. Natural medicine to me is God’s way. Does he know there are many more vaccines required now. What if the government wanted him to take many vaccines? Does he want a “brain dead” society and disabled physically when they could have been healthy/happy?
People want to do things “right”, but laws of nature are right and ways of man may hurt more than help. Looking “right” and what is really right are two different things. Thanks for taking a stand on vaccines. CA may have the most disabled kids soon. Who is going to to help the kids? Who is going to pay for disabled kids and special school programs. Trying to hurt Alternative medicine doctors/help and promoting what is “big business”, but not in the best interests of health is not good. Pray hard.

Great post and thank you for your courage. I have been an independent holistic health scientist for 50 years now, exploring primarily the elimination and reversal of both disease and what is erroneously known as “normal aging.” I have also studied vaccines in depth and detail. The entire theory on which the “effectiveness” is based, is that the presence of antibodies equals immunity. This is completely false. Many people with antibodies get the disease in question, and many of those get it from the shot. Also many people with no detectable antibodies have great immunity. I know it is almost impossible to grasp, but the truth is the entire vaccine theory is a total fraud. This is not how immunity is acquired. Vaccines have started and spread many deadly epidemics since their start in about 1790. They have a terrible track record. They did not eradicate smallpox or polio. But the main thing is, as Dr. O’Shea says, vaccination does NOT equal immunization. This whole thing is a stupendous psychological operation to hypnotize otherwise intelligent people into believing a my as ridiculous as the idea that the Emperor in the famous fable had clothes on. He didn’t, and vaccines have NEVER worked. NONE of them should ever be given. Stretching them out over more time is not at all intelligent, but is a sign we have not come out of the hypnosis. They should all be ditched, and those responsible for the intentional scam should be indicted. It’s not complicated. This is yet another massive and deadly crime of the partnership between corrupt government and industry. If we do not remove malevolent people from power (voting will not do it, many of them are in non-elected positions), then we have no chance to avoid this multipronged attack. Thank you so much for your bravery. Now let’s tell the whole truth. The pro-vaccine people are right, the science IS settled. Vaccines have exactly ZERO value, but they do destroy health, to different degrees in different people, but poisons like this always destroy health to some extent, sometimes fatally. There are ways to achieve immunity, I have studied this for decades. The fraud called vaccines is not one of them.

In 2010 pig viruses were discovered in the rotovirus vaccine by new technology capable of diagnosing vaccine reactions overnight for as little as $400.00. Does the Rabbi recommend any other pork products for the congregation? The chemicals are but a small portion of vaccine reactions which could include breast cancers precipitated by breast feeding of recently immunized children with live vaccines. The FDA has never scientifically evaluated vaccine reactions and after this test (Lawrence Livermore Microbial Detection Array -LLMDA) became available FDA banned its use for diagnostic purposes. I do not oppose immunizations, but I oppose those who intentionally withhold scientific methods to evaluate their safety. The Rabbi cannot know that vaccines are safe any more than the Pope who excommunicated Galileo knew that the Earth was at the center of the Universe.

I wonder if the rabbi would stick to his policy if he had to sign a contract agreeing to be sued when a child he required to be vaccinated got injured. One of my grandchildren was affected by infant vaccination and it makes me sick that pediatricians continue to browbeat mothers into vaccinating their babies.
My neighbor said it best to me a few weeks ago. He said “You know, I really am lazy when it comes to the news. I mean for all my life have just listened and believed what they tell me. That, is exactly how I am lazy as I am spoon fed information and I don’t question anyything.” He is an airline pilot and one day some news came up about his profession that he knew was wrong and he began to question many things.
We then discussed how hard it is to find real facts, how hard it is to piece things together, and how rejected you can be when you share your expanded and often opposing view. It is quite possible your current circle of friends will shrink even a synagogue.

The Catholic Church in The Diocese of Birmingham, as well as Dallas, have stopped honoring religious exemptions as well. We were informed at the end of February that we would not be allowed to return. We had a two hour meeting with the Bishop who has decided to grant exemptions for those shots derived from aborted fetal tissue only. No other argument, science, or opinion would be heard.
Dr. B, you should refer your Rabbi to the book ‘Dissolving Illusions’ co-authored by Dr. Suzanne Humphries and Roman Bystrianyk. It shows extensive research dating back approximately 100 yrs revealing the sad saga of early vaccines and the part they played in human misery. It was the improved sanitation and nutrition measures taken in that period of time which made a significant difference in human health, not the primitive purulent matter injected into the willing and not so willing subjects. Until your rabbi, among others, either come to their own ‘light bulb’ moment or their own unfortunate ‘vaccine injury’ then there will be an ongoing uphill struggle to turn the minds of people determined to believe the ‘corporate’ line. We are all at risk of the forced injections that will take what measure of health we have remaining, then it’s game over.

Please check out the work the folks at Children of God for Life have done and continue to do. If you are Catholic, there are exemptions mandated by the Vatican. Shame on your Bishop for not complying! Vaccination is a many layered onion, the more you learn, the more you understand how evil the industry is!

Sad to see religious organizations being controlled… It makes me wonder what the AMA/pro-vaccine groups could possibly hold over the religious organizations that would turn them into robots?
How is it the Rabbi, who is not an educated medical person, can insist “the vaccines are safe” without acknowledging the science does not support that perspective? How many BILLIONS of dollars are the pharmaceutical companies making from these vaccines? And how much of that money have they given to their congressional representatives in support of their business practices? I applaud you for your stance.
Thank you for standing up for our rights. It makes no sense that the temple would implement this policy when it is our right as residence of Michigan to make an informed choice. Before any institution exempts anyone from attending a school, church or job, they should do research outside of that funded but he vaccine industry and learn the truth. Vaccines are not as effective as they are said to be, and certainly contain way to many risks. After doing my extensive research, I believe the risks of vaccines(which could cause chronic diseases, out way the risks of disease, which is mainly a fever, and a rash for a week that gives you life long immunity.). Sadly the vaccine industry has falsified data to make the public believe they are safe and effective. If everyone would just question the “science”, they would discover the truth.
Amen! Freedom is freedom whether you like what people do with it or not. Parents should have the right to decide for the children, not a school, religion, or government!
My husband and I are currently leaving Hillel Day School in response to this. Our daughter would be going into her third year there and our son would be starting his first year. We are saddened, so saddened by this. I don’t even know where to begin. Aside from that, there have been some truly nasty exchanges btwn parents. The verbal attacks make this a shocking reality for me. I am a convert to Judaism. I would have NEVER believed a jewish community to behave so outrageously disrespectful and uneducated had I not been a part of this. Jews attacking jews. It feels like a bad dream. No matter, we stand our ground. Our children will not vaccinate according to what the jewish community demands. This has allowed me to rethink what being Jewish really is and how much it means to me if this is what type of people it produces.

Dr B., My employer requires everyone to have an annual flu shot or lose their job. Last year we were told that the flu vaccine that we were given did not contain mercury. Is this even possible? I am also interested in the comment from Jeanette who mentions that aborted fetal cell components are in vaccines. Is this true? It is true. There are some flu vaccines that do not contain mercury. Of course, it has never been shown that vaccinating hospital workers against the flu protects anyone from getting the flu.

Very well said. It makes me wonder where that came from? Was there a “donation” to the Temple with strings attached? Can you recall a Rabbi? I would think people in the Jewish faith would have a hard time accepting DNA from other animals and humans into their bodies. We seem to accept Orwellian “double speak” with no questions asked these days.

Regardless of your beliefs and whether you homeschool, private school or public school. And what gets me is that an MD is sponsoring the bill…guess who is getting paid by the big pharmaceutical companies??? Every pediatrician that signs onto their “program”. What is a parent to do? Dr. B., how did your meeting with the rabbi end? Were any doors left open for further discussion, or did he put the final kibosh on the matter? You know, Torah forbids putting any unclean thing in your body. If mercury isn’t unclean, especially at that level, I don’t know what is. I’m wondering if the rabbi is so adamant because he is afraid of blood libel which is beginning to rear its ugly head again, especially in Europe.

My children have attended Catholic school for the past 5 years. We were informed about a month before school let out this year that the Diocese has passed a rule no longer allowing religious exemptions for vaccines.

Your Temple is very lucky to have you. Perhaps we could clone you and send you down here to Florida. I am afraid my hand will be forced on this issue when my daughter attends her first preschool at 3yrs old. I really have problems with the MMR vax, this one scares me the most.
My daughter has had all her vaccinations to date and I have spread them out so she never receives more than 2 at one time. My doctor has been great about letting me decide when & what I give her. I had to search for a vax friendly doctor in my area.
