The American Medical Association (AMA) has released a position statement that opposes the creation of a new federal commission on vaccine safety whose task is to study the association between autism and vaccines. “The AMA fully supports the overwhelming body of evidence and rigorous scientific process used by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices which demonstrate vaccines are among the most effective and safest interventions to both prevent individual illness and protect the health of the public,” William E. Autism is occurring at epidemic rates. We now have over 1,000,000 U.S. children diagnosed with autism. Something in our environment is responsible for causing the autism epidemic. It is not due to genetics. Could it be the increasing numbers of vaccines given to our children? Why wouldn’t any rational person want to study this association? A simple study comparing vaccinated with unvaccinated children could help decide whether vaccines are responsible for causing the autism epidemic. But, the Powers-That-Be, like the AMA, do not want this study done as it may turn their world upside down.
In response to the AMA edicts supporting more vaccines and stating that no further research is needed, I and my colleagues have released a reply to the AMA letter.
Response to AMA’s Status Quo Vaccine Policy, Trumping Safety 23 June 2017
Since 1996, the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has led a concerted effort on
driver safety. Its excellent results reduced highway fatalities by 50 percent, per 100,000
licensed drivers, from 23.21 down to 15.26 in 2014.(1)
Over the same period, autism cases per 100,000 have skyrocketed from 2.1 to 25.8 cases,
or from 1 in 500 (1995) to 1 in 68 babies born in 2014, more than a seven-old increase. (2)
If those statistics aren’t damning enough, for the first time since 1993, U.S. “life expectancy”
has declined(3) and a HHS-sponsored study in 2011 reported that nearly 43% of US children
(32 million) had at least 1 of 20 chronic health conditions, increasing to 54.1% when
overweight, obesity, or being at risk for developmental delays are included.(4) Of course, we
are supposed to believe that the dramatic spike in childhood illness and cases of autism has
nothing to do with tripling of the number of vaccines on the CDC’s Childhood Immunization
Schedule between 1996 and 2017.(5,6) It should be obvious that such a powerful correlation
should be examined. But it is not being investigated.
How can the FHWA get safety so right, but the three federal agencies tasked with the
safeguarding the health of U.S. citizens—the CDC, the NIH, and FDA—get safety so wrong?
That begs the question, where is the American Medical Association (AMA) demanding more
research to determine why our children are suffering through an autism epidemic?
One answer: Big Pharma-funded professional organizations, like the AMA and the
American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), have gone to great lengths to ensure that vaccine
safety remain in the hands of policymakers; they have systematically blocked efforts of
investigations by independent scientists.
Deep Flaws within the Three Agencies
The AMA’s view on vaccine safety—that the status quo is fine and needs no changes—runs
counter to the evidence. None of the three-letter agencies are capable of ensuring vaccine
safety. The entire system of checks and balances has been so upended that safety, quality
control, and quality assurance within the U.S. immunization program has been completely
compromised. The flaws are so deep and pervasive that nothing short of a total overhaul
should be undertaken. Soon, the crumbling edifice of “vaccine safety” will collapse under its
own weight.
So how can the AMA condone “flawed science” and “political manipulation” at the CDC, the
NIH, FDA, and within the IOM? Does the AMA believe the echolalia repetition of “safe and
effective” is the same as “science-based evidence?”
Why does the AMA continue to condone the CDC’s efforts, even after the domestic (Dr.
William Thompson whistleblower(7) and international (Danish scientist Poul Thorsen(8,9)
fraudulent science studies have been exposed?
Response to AMA’s Status Quo Position
On June 19, AMA News senior staff writer, Sara Berg, published an Opinion: “AMA backs evidence-based vaccine policy, opposes new commission.”
For many doctors, lawyers, professionals, advocates, and parents of autistic and chronically ill children, we stand against the AMA and the rest of our severely broken, corrupt system of government organizations. They have done nothing as an entire generation of children has spiraled in to a litany of debilitating illnesses, more than at any time in human history.
Vaccines are currently advocated for the elderly, the infirmed, all adults, all pregnant women and their fetuses, and all children of all ages, including premies and micropremies. The standards of vaccine safety must be closely examined. Vaccine trials are only interested in the development of an antibody after a muscle has been injected with foreign matter. The combined and cumulative effects of 55 shots, 209 vaccine antigens, 525 mcg of mercury and 13,425 mcg of aluminum that have been injected into a child by 18 years of age in accordance with the CDC’s 2017 childhood immunization schedule has never been examined. In fact, it has never even been questioned.
The AMA’s blathering that, “physicians remain concerned the current federal administration may attempt to establish new vaccine policy based on unfounded and unscientific facts” is a red herring. It is meant to distract from the current state of poor health experienced by today’s children.
A new, fully transparent Vaccine Safety Commission must be formed. With nearly 250 vaccines in the developmental pipeline,11 examining the safety of injections cannot be overstated. The three-letter agencies, which would subvert this effort, are clearly looking through tainted rose-colored glasses intent on protecting the status quo.
We call on Dr. Kobler and the AMA to a public discussion of, and if necessary, debate on vaccine safety issues.

It is sad the way we treat our children as guinea pigs. I fear for the future of my grandson. I saw the way he was treated at birth and was shocked. I read the list of ingredients in his formula. There were contents that no one should swallow, much less such a small body. Then the vaccinations come, filling him with poisons. I was told my grandson was at risk from me because I did not have a whooping cough vaccination. I had whooping cough when I was five. I guess I can understand children with very low immunity being at risk, but it seems to me we are creating those low immunities, causing an endless circle. Good for Dr. Brownstein.
I have friends & colleagues who are medical professionals. I asked one of my friends where they stood about vaccines. The answer was shocking to me. “It doesn’t concern me”, was the answer. I sat there a little stunned by the reply. “Why doesn’t it concern you?”, was my question. “I’m a doctor!” they exclaimed. “And how does being a doctor NOT concern you, when it comes to vaccines?”, I asked. “I’m a doctor!” “Doctors don’t have to give vaccinations. Nurses do.”
It helps me to feel less grief stricken about this whole nightmare we are projecting onto the most vulnerable. It feels like people are going crazy. I’ll continue to be a voice and appreciate and show gratitude for the voices of others and yours Dr. B.

I applaud the effort to get a study to see if the vaccines are safe. No reasonable person would NOT want to see studies that aim to check the safety of what we are doing to our children.
However, at some point I would also like to see studies which look to see if these vaccines are effective. Do we even need to take them (safe or not)?
It’s just impossible that any sane person would not sign this letter… hence I’m heading off to send a copy to our US Representative who is an MD himself, to TEST whether he is sane….. ttyl, after I review what other MDs I have some direct lines of communication with… Thanks for this heads up on the insanity OR TREACHERY at the AMA..

Your response to these corrupt and evil morons is excellent! I have been watching this disaster for years now and trying to inform my friends about vaccines but with few results. Isn’t it obvious that the powers that be want us and our children dead?! There can be no other explanation aside from unbridled greed and in my opinion, they go together. After all, what better way to guarantee perpetual patients than to inject poisons, alien dna and animal viruses into children. And now they are aiming at us adults. I for one will refuse all vaccines no matter what the penalty! THESE PEOPLE MUST BE STOPPED!!
I have friends with young children and so many are on prescription drugs, or have to have nebulizer treatments for asthma, or make numerous trips to the emergency room every year for infections, etc. Yet their parents consider them healthy because the kids run around and play. It’s now become “normal” to have children with chronic conditions. I really don’t know what’s going to happen to the human race in the future if this continues.

Two of my kids will have babies this year. I sent them your last blog on vaccines for their information. One couple discussed it and will be doing vaccines when the baby comes. I went with them to a baby class this week at Kaiser and when the topic of vaccines came up said that the correlation of vaccines to autisum was proven false by the one person that started the concern. So right there in front of me she was dismissing the possiblity of it being true. I did not know that was proven false. I find that Kaiser is pro vacinnes and statins. The doctors do not question the research.
I had given my husband the information on statins and he stopped taking them…twice. Of course his cholestrol went up and his doctor told him he had a 22% chance of heart problems in the next 20 years and will have only 5% in the next 20 years if he takes the statin. It scared him so he will be taking statins again. When you are just a regular person it is hard to go against your doctor. I know it is a lot to ask my children to not give their kids vaccines. Who am I to suggest that… I am not a doctor or chemist or scientist.
Dr. Brownstein it is hard to get people to change because they are afraid.

I applaud your response. Where has it been published so the general public can read it? Persons who read your and the other doctors blogs are generally aware of the false AMA claims. The general public must begin to see these posts.
Also President Trump and his team must become aware of the public support for independent research into vaccine safety. I also applaud the President’s attempts to address this issue and hope that he will hear from many of his supporters who want to see vaccine safety addressed regardless of the powerful interests that want to keep it suppressed.
There are already examples that using a lower vaccine schedule does drastically decrease autism. One is Dr. Paul Thomas “Vaccine-Friendly Plan” (see the book by this name). In over 1000 children vaccinated under Dr. Thomas Vaccine-Friendly plan, there were NO cases of autism. In about 900 children he vaccinated using the CDC guidelines, there were 15 cases of Autism.Some mothers are just too supportive of the CDC, and it has cost them dearly for the rest of their lives.
I agree that there is a need for open-mindedness in studying any possible contributing factors for autism. Vaccines are definitely a Big Pharma cash-cow that has been forced on us (like Statins). But I also think that autism probably has a multi-factorial etiology. Man-made chemicals abound in our buildings, vehicles, furnishings, mattresses, clothing, foods; Electrical interference with brain function from communication proliferation (cellphones, Wi-Fi, computers and tablets, “smart-wired” houses & appliances, internet of everything….etc); Factory-farmed food; GMO food………
ALL these are exposing our children to a huge toxic load affecting all their body systems in an even greater way than I, as a 65 year old, was exposed to in my comparatively clean childhood.
Keep up the awesome work you do, Dr Brownstein, and everyone who reads about these issues take whatever action you can.

The AMA statement is criminal. Yours is a great response. I would hope every MD’s especially all pediatrians would want this investigation to put the issue to bed once and for all. Is anyone working on getting the majority of Drs to sign a response similar to this? I hope so.
