What is the minimum and maximum number of guests that Villa Santa Cruz can accommodate for an event?

The Villa is perfect for both small and large celebrations. We host intimate affairs for just two people or larger weddings with up to 125 guests maximum.

What is the basic fee structure?

We require a three night minimum booking of all accommodations and charge a separate event fee based on the number of invitees. Please inquire directly for rates.

What is included in the event fee?

The event fee includes the use of multiple on-site locations for ceremony, cocktail and reception celebrations on the day of the wedding, bistro lighting strung over the back lawn, cleaning the day of the event and the morning after, and one additional event (i.e. welcome pool party, Rehearsal Dinner or Sunday Brunch). Catering, rentals, music, flowers, etc. are not included and must be arranged separately. The event end time is 12 midnight. If you’d like to add additional events at the Villa (i.e. welcome pool party, Rehearsal Dinner or Sunday Brunch), an additional discounted event fee may apply. Please inquire to discuss directly.

How many people can sleep on-site?

Villa Santa Cruz can sleep up to 28 guests in 4 Standard Rooms (in the main Villa), 2 Beach View Bungalows around the pool (available Early 2019) and 2 Beach View Bungalows to the south of the Villa (available late Spring/early Summer 2019) and a neighboring vacation rental, Casa Tres Palmas (north side of pool). We recommend that our wedding groups book all accommodations to ensure privacy.

Where do the rest of my guests stay?

We have a list of nearby accommodation options for your guests that include glamping tents, vacation rentals and casitas (some are walking distance, others are a short drive) and hotels in Todos Santos.

Is there a service that can shuttle my guests between their hotel/vacation rental and Villa Santa Cruz?

Do you offer wedding coordination?

To take the worry out of planning a destination wedding, we offer wedding coordination services to help you plan and execute your big day. We can be as involved as you need – from rolling up our sleeves and coordinating all vendors, to stepping in just for “day of” coordination, or we can be completely hands off. Please inquire directly for rates. We provide all couples with our list of preferred vendors.

Can we bring in our own alcohol?

Yes, you are welcome to bring in outside alcohol. We do not charge any corkage fees.

Can I get legally married in Mexico?

The vast majority of our couples are married legally in their home country and then have a purely symbolic ceremony at Villa Santa Cruz. They find this is an easier and less expensive option.If you’d like to be legally married in Mexico, we can put you in touch with professionals who will guide you through the process (requirements include blood tests and health certifications, translation of birth certificates in Spanish, etc.)
