Never heard of eye color changing going all the way back to the brown board (2001-ish).
If anything it makes light eye color more prominent by contrasting with your now darker skin.

If going low dose I would definitely recommend nasal spray route. I've used it with comparable success to injecting but you do have to use more product since it isn't absorbed as fully as SubQ...
