    Triptorelin working like HCG?

I was told by people that Triptorelin is actually NOT a good choice for PCT because it exerts HCG-like temporary effects and then LH and FSH levels drop back again to sub-physiological levels. Is this true ?
If yes, then maybe stack Triptorelin with Clomid for a more viable PCT version.

Triptorelin has been studied in men with prostate cancer. One shot causes testosterone to surge for a few days. Then test falls into "castration levels" I believe was the wording.

It's funny you should say that, as Triptorelin was used as a tool for chemical castration on a regular basis at 4mg a week or a month (not sure) in healthy subjects.
If one small dose is enough to castrate the subject temporarily why would they need to use huge doses to achieve the same result?

That's with a super-high dose, over repeated doses.

    This is according to Wikipedia:

"During the treatment of prostate cancer it does cause a surge of testosterone (an initial uplevel of testosterone levels), known as a flare effect. In men a reduction of serum testosterone levels into the range normally seen after surgical castration occurs approximately two to four weeks after initiation of therapy."
