burning sensation after MT2 injection

Alright, yesterday I started using Melanotan 2. But it was very painful to inject it, I had a strong burning sensation while injecting it and it became red and stayed sore couple of hours after injection.

I mixed my 10mg vial of Melanotan 2 with 1ml of bacteriostatic water. I injected only 300mcg yesterday and today I did one more injection of 300mcg but had the same problem, injection site became red and painful again.

I did everything correctly, used an alcohol swab, proper injecting technique, but why does it burn? The bacteriostatic was purchased last week is it's good. I am thinking that there might be a problem with my Melanotan 2 supplier?

From what I've been reading Melanotan 2 shouldn't give any pain at all.

I have never experienced any pain from MT2 injections. Are you using fresh needles? SubQ injections? Try IM with a fresh needle.

Sometimes I feel a slight sting about 10-15 minutes after Melanotan 2 injection, but I haven't experienced burning for hours. It might be an allergic reaction, you should get some anti-histamine like, Benadryl is the most popular one. Did you also get sick after injection? There might be an issue with your injecting technique as well though and make sure that your needle isn't dull

For me, the main problem is the facial flushing.
