You will want to avoid sun exposure while skin is healing, so no need to use melanotan either.
Never heard of side effects when stopping melanotan use, it's definitely not toxic.
cover your tattoo if going to use sunbed, but better wait till it heals
ultraviolet light and tattoos is not a good combination if you want your body artwork to last a lifetime
IF you absolutely have to have tan regularly talk with your tattooist how to protect it from fading.
