    6 months old melanotan

So I reconstituted some Melanotan II at the begining of may. Now for various reasons I have been unable to use it and had to come off it, but now I'm using that same reconstituted vial that been in the fridge for over 6 months now and it still works! Its a little bit less potent, but it still works! I am pretty amazed at this, because I thought it was useless after 60 days!?

I'm not surprised. MTII definitely lasts a lot longer than 60 days, though the peptide companies would want one to believe otherwise.

I've had my premixed syringes frozen for about a year. Still work just as well.

I have experienced the same thing. I was delighted that my MTII was still just as potent 9 months after reconstituting.

That is an entirely different situation Mediaffi. Premixed frozen peptides and drugs of all sorts will last for years.

Mine, too but that is no longer a surprise because they can stay potent for several years.

As long as they are in the freezer and not at risk for cross contamination.

My question is, will they still be as potent? Even if they stayed in the freezer for, let's say, five years?

You should probably freeze it to avoid degradation.

I have used melanotan after it being reconstituted for 3 month and i did not find it being any less effective, obviously it was kept in fridge all this time, but it proves that melanotan is very stable peptide and does not degrade as quick as other peps.

Freezing MT shouldn't cause any degradation as far as I'm aware as once it's frozen then it will keep fresh up until when you require to use it and will still have the same effect.

I don't suggest freezing reconstituted peptides, freezing and defrosting changes water molecular structure, this is not what you want when dealing with peptides.

Who said it was useless after 60 days? It lasts longer than 3 months to me. I don't know why. Maybe, it is because of my maintenance routine, but surely, mt-2 is so great to me.

From what I have heard from the others and have read from certain articles and forums, met-2 can last up to a year or two. Therefore, it is not that surprising to known that what you got there was still effective.

From what I know, you can actually use it even after storing it for two years as long as it was not been shaken or the like. Well, that was what I have heard. I am not 100% sure about it.

Wow. I was amazed while reading the comments. We do not know that mt-2 is still usable even after keeping it in the fridge for one to two years. Thanks for all this! My wife has a 1-year-old mt-2 in the fridge but she is really afraid to use it.

Well, actually you can keep your mt-2 in the fridge for 2 years and it will still be usable. So, it is not a surprise that the melanotan that you kept for 6 months still works.

Wow. I envy you! I had been using melanotan for five years before I stopped for more or less 5 years as well. I stopped because I was busy with my family. I got pregnant twice ( a son and then twins). I also decided to breastfeed since I got plenty of milk in my breast. Lol.
