I have also ordered talika lipocils expert, it darkens the natural color by 50 percent, don't know how significant that really is. When you google the product and the word "darker" it seems to work. I just don't think the promised 28 days are sufficient to see the final results. Lashes need much more time to reach their full potential.
Hi Djen, I researched about the talika lipocils. It says it will help curl, darken, and grow lashes in just one month. I'd like to know how it will go for you. I'm also doubtful of the time they are promising. So, might as well wait for your results as I have observed, you update as with your journey very well.
4 weeks is definitely not enough. All stuff involved hair ( and lashes) take 4 months ( latisse, minoxidil) but in this day and age people want fast results. The downside is that lots of people will throw it away after 4 weeks because they think it won't work in the long haul.
I wonder if latisse takes 4 months that an analogue can work faster. There's a difference between some first results and final results.
After 8 weeks latisse showed a 35 increase in thickness, after 16 weeks 105 pct thickness, so many things should happen between week 8 and 16.
I know someone using the talika stuff. She said that she noticed changes around 3months ++. Don't stop using it if you don't see any changes after a month. They just tell you that so you'll buy the product.
9 weeks into nanolash and at first I thought there was some darkening but as the lashes get longer, they seem light. Not as light as they are natural but way too light for my head hair and eyebrows. I still need some more time to see the full results but I'm already thinking one step ahead.
This website looks very professional and they transplant head hair to eyelashes, very dense. so they can cover the exisiting lashes. Other less specialised surgeons only add some lashes but not like 150. So you need a good surgeon.

For those just tuning in: All my hair darkens to dark brown even on maintenance, apart from my lashes. As it's not an invasive surgery, it seems to be a good choice to transplant dark lashes over your existing ones to have a natural look ( as a man) without the use of mascara, eyelash tinting,....
I use a product called Lumigan every night on my upper lash lid, and my eyelashes grow dark and long, The generic name is Bimotropost and it is used for people with gluacoma and you can purchase online. As long as you don't get it in your eyes, it is effective for lengthening and darkening your lashes using a very fine brush.
I'm nearing week 11 of nanolash which is also a prostaglandin analogue. The results should be complete after 16 weeks but at this point I'm not convinced yet. Tried lumigan before and it turned my eyes very red even though I didn't get it in the eye using a fine brush.
Many people over here have transparent lashes to start with. I guess it's different when they're already brown getting black.
I see what you're saying DJEN about transparent lashes, sometimes I get dry irritated eyes from Lumigan, so I use Optrex Dazzling blue eye drops to help with the redness.
How many drops did you use per eye?, as I use 1 drop, in the lid for both eyes.
@Djen. Your link was so helpful. I really hope @Discouries finds it as helpful. @AnnTan also has a point. Many people consider mascara since most of them look natural and stylish.
Just like spray tans, mascara is not an option for most forum members here. We need something real. I hadn't had an email back from one transplant hospital I contacted, but could be the holidays. My goal is to look for the best possible surgeon.
What? Is there a way other than putting mascara to darken your lashes? This is definitely new to me! Unfortunately, the person who started this thread wants this thread to be deleted already.
No way this is an interesting thread. A few updates. When I used the nanolash, at first ( after a few weeks) it darkened my lashes but it didn't get to the point that I would have wanted to. I'm currently using the talika lipocils.
My head hair has darkened to almost black, even on lower dosages it remains dark, so I've been maintaining that for almost 8 years now.
It's a bit odd to have dark hair and lighter lashes as a man, that's why I'm considering an eyelash transplant ( with head hair as donor hair). For some folks it might sound like one step too far, but to me it's like transitioning and I'm sure some others over here feel the same way about this too, so let's support each other.
