Melanotan 1 Experience. Melanotan 2 Help!?? Experienced users only please

    Hey guys,

I've got a few questions about Melanotan 2, the internet really doesn't have too much info unfortunately.

Anyways I'll give you some background information.

I bought a 10mg vile of Melanotan 1 ( I chose this to start because I wanted to be as safe as possible for my first time) on the internet and started injecting small, probably about 250 mcg a day for 2 days. Then upped it to about 500mcgs and so on, Although I never exceeded 1mg in a day towards the end of it. Also I used no tanning beds, just walking around in sunlight for about 30 mins, every other day.

First injection was scary but wasn't so bad in the end, Face was flushed to the shit and after a day or so it was really working nicely, very natural ]
Unfortunately towards the end of the vile, I started getting pains in my heart, like a 2 beats would hurt and at the same time pain would shoot down my left arm, started on the second last day of using. This went on for about 4 days, it wasn't constant, it happened about 5 or 6 times in a day but I got one that was really worrying and I was turned off completely. I'm not using it again.

Anyways I got off it for two weeks and ordered some Melanotan 2 nasal spray in a kit, I received 2 10mg files of Melanotan 2 and I figured id mix one vile for nasal as a tester (bottle is 20 mlx and I filled it to the top with the solution including the melanotan 1) and leave the other one in the fridge just incase.

So far 5 days after using the nasal sprays, I've received about 10-20 sun spots in different areas of my body, no tan, sun spots aren't really an issue but it pisses me off how theres no tan.* Same process with the MT1, walking around in the sun 30mins+ every other day. Its summer here in Aus.
Ohh boy did I get the erections tho, every morning at about 5am that would last for a few hours!

Thats it, Sorry about the novel ! haha

Anyways recently Im up to my second injection sub q 250mcg of Melanotan 2, Given up with the nasal spray,, For the second time I got no flush, No sides, No nothing. If anything it nearly looks like a dirty colour coming on,* but thats barely if anything!* I don't really understand considering the results I received with Melanotan 1 from the get go. Its just interesting.

Its early days yet so I'll post back here and let you know whats happening with this cycle.

One last thing. I smoke weed so maybe thats why I don't feel the nasua, who knows.

I just want to know anyones thoughts on the matter, any advice, stories relating back to this etc

    Thanks ppl

That was quite big, not sure if there was any actual questions there either. I'll pick out a couple of bits.

This has been mentioned before by one or two people. It could be your supplier adulterating it but I'm not too sure. Unless you bought it from some highly shady/cheap company.

I would say that its odd it took to near the end of the vial though.
If you consider you were dosing quite low you'd have probably been about 10-14 days into the vial?
Next, they continued for about 2 days. The half life for MT1 is about an hour, and it should have reached minute levels within about 5 hours.
If it was a dodgy product it would have experienced them from the start and until shortly after.

Did you use bacteriostatic water or sodium chloride? Store it in the fridge or freezer?
If sodium chloride and fridge, you may have experienced acute sepsis. One of the symptoms is heart palpitations and/or rapid/irregular heart beat.

That's fine! If you're still experiencing the libido effects, it's working. If you're not experiencing anything then try upping the dose to 500mcg every day.
Give it a couple of weeks and continue as you are. If you have slight tanning from the MT1 it may take a little longer before you notice it.

"One last thing. I smoke weed so maybe thats why I don't feel the nasua, who knows."

Normally cannabis usage can ease the nausea, but it depends on your predisposition to the drug. If you're a regular smoker then you'll probably not notice it.
The only way to tell would be to stop the cannabis usage for a short period but that would bring about adverse effects without any real need to.
Generally the initial facial flushing is the best way to tell.

Re: Melanotan 1 Experience. Melanotan 2 Help!?? Experienced users only please

Hey labp thanks for the advice and info!

I spent $75 for a 10mg melanotan 1 vial from a reputable source. Hmm thats true thats true, anything could be in there I guess, they did advertise it as only 98%.

First time with the melo1 I used bacterial water and it would always sting when jabbing, I stored it always in the fridge. At the moment I'm using sodium chloride with melo2 and theres no injection pain at all now and haven't been experiencing any heart related issues with this.

Only drama I'm having with melo2 is that my tan is slightly a dirty colour, its not too bad, but I'm not sure I want to continue with it, Melo1 results were far better in terms of colour!

Is there anything I can do about this? I spent a few hours in sunlight yesterday and Im definitely getting darker, slowly but surely, but its more of a slightly dirty brown then golden brown.

I'll keep this thread posted anyways

    Cheers Tom

MT2 is normally a deeper colour whereas MT1 is a more golden colour.
I think a lot of it is to do with the rate the tan develops. If you wait a week or two it should look better, just make sure to start spreading out your doses to every 2 to 3 days as you're reaching the desired colour. Its easy to overshoot the mark and you're stuck brown for weeks.

Haha, thanks! I manage the company's forum account in my spare time; and I try my best to get quick and helpful answers out. There's nothing worse than having an important question and not getting a reply for a day or two.

If you were injecting every day space it out to every two days, when you get a bit close to your desired colour spread out to every 3 days.

I try to get to 2 sunbed sessions a week, normally 6 or 9 minutes.
If you're lucky enough to get natural exposure then go for it! The main thing to consider is to not burn - anything up to that is fine.

I'm not experienced with Melanotan but I do have some experience with other stuff you talked about, and have thoroughly researched melanotan safety.

I've had skipped heartbeats that freaked me out at first. I researched what they probably were but they became more frequent (multiple a day) and I would get random shooting pains in my body but mostly concentrated in my chest. I finally got checked out by a cardiologist and found out they were PVCs (slight pause between heartbeats which can lead to the second one being very forceful). They are completely benign and most people get them but just don't notice them. Since the checkup, the aforementioned symptoms gradually got better and I rarely get them now. I've concluded they were mostly caused by stress/anxiety (which if you research is a known cause for these things). I'm pretty sure caffeine triggered it initially and then me worrying about it made it a lot worse (my brain essentially became hyper sensitive).

Marijuana can also make anxiety symptoms worse. From personal experience I don't think it causes it but it but can certainly make existing anxiety worse.

If I had to guess what caused your symptoms, it was probably contaminated product or purely psychosomatic perhaps caused by worrying about MT usage. In the small chance that MT itself did cause it (it isn't commonly reported as a side during any of the trials or approved usage in Europe), my guess it would probably be through affecting the central nervous system. I don't think this would indicate actual damage to your cardiovascular symptom, just melanotan affecting your brain directly.

    Hopefully this helped.

Hey thanks for the reply and the info mate! Very helpful.
Glad to know its common and what you explained is definitely what I experienced.
I agree with the marijuana part 100%. Its quite interesting the effect your mind has on your body, After feeling more comfortable with the sub q jabs, I haven't had another one of those experiences since ]

    Hey mate !

Things are going well. At first I was a little bit iffy about it especially the colour. But a week later since getting more sun exposure and having one 6 min solarium session things are looking good! Heaps pf people at work are commenting saying I look like I've been living at the beach!* Im injecting in-between 100mcgs and 250mcgs per morning but am going to lay off to every other day now, as Im getting dark! No sides anymore either.
Also noticing my hair is getting lighter as well as my blue eyes, its like their getting more light/bright. Which I kind of like.

The only downside for me is the sunspots, I really have developed quite a few (especially using the nasal spray) the ones that look like dark freckles. Their not noticeable really, But their the ones that look like they'll be permanent. Their not the pigmentation spots that people say disappear.

Other then that every things sweet though

Will throw up before and after pics and will keep you legends posted

    Thanks !

Well keep it up, your doing a good job man !

Thanks, Will take your advice and start injecting every 3 days maybe, Im pretty brown after that 6minute solarium I had 2 days ago, So I just want to ease off it abit.

Also, My legs and arms are darker then other parts of my body ( because there exposed during the day, How will I go about this when going to a solarium next?
As I'm guessing it won't even it up, just make everything darker. How would you go about this to ensure an even tan?

    Cheers!

    Thanks again

I would use spf50+ on the darker areas (face, neck, arms, genitals, sometimes shins) when in the sun beds.
It won't stop it 100% but it will allow your skin to even out!

It would be worth doing this on normal days too before leaving the house. For this I'd use SPF15 or 30, I prefer having the slight tan lines on my arms and neck as it looks more natural.* You can use spf50 if you want, though!

    Just a quick update-
Tan is really out now! I haven't had another solarium sesh (only 1 to date) but I had a good tan down at the beach a few days ago that really kicked it up. I'm dosing in between 150mcgs-300mcgs (usually closer to 150mcgs) every other day. And using 50+ sunscreen to even certain parts up, as you said labp! - which by the way is working ]
I did just notice I have two small reddish spots/patchs close to the middle of my back, they nearly look like two mild burns but their only about the size of your pinkie finger print, if you get me. Has anyone else had something like this come up? If so what are they?

So far I'm pretty damn happy with this product. However sunspots keep popping up, their small, but becoming quite common. Considering I had very clear skin previously, this is a big downer for me ! Theres no real way of preventing them hey?

I could be a slight burn for some reason, can't really tell from the description.

It may be worth consulting a doctor/dermatologist, there are a couple of ways of removing them, a couple of creams and a few heavier methods."
