    Stretch marks got worse

I gained a lot of weight last summer, got a ton of stretch marks on my hip and stomach area. Since then I've lost 65 pounds and have been using MT2 thinking a tan would help, but they look darker now. I've discontinued MT2, my question to you guys is am i screwed? Is this mistake I made permanent and will cause my stretch marks to always appear dark brown instead of fading to white? Will they eventually lighten up and go away?

    Re: Stretch marks got worse

Congrats blink192, keep up the good work. Rest assured you're not screwed. They will lighten. How much mt-2 was used?
Very happy to read how in tune & how you've listened well to your body. Quitting MT2 was the right move - with fresh challenges in the epidermis, you'll want to give time before using melanocortin agonists (as scars can heal and remain dark/discolored for a short while) - hopefully an expert can shine a better light (my stretch marks are old and are not within suntan range)
