This stuff totally sent my immune system (mainly nervous and digestive systems) into full on attack after only 10 days at .15 to .25 mg doses, and it is still affecting me, after stopping 3 months ago. Ive had numerous test run, and was told by a specialist that "something" had sent my immune system into a frenzy which in turn has caused me LOTS of problems. The first problem that my wife and I noticed with the very first injection was we both got horrible bloating and gas. That was the only side she ever had. Me on the other hand, had gas pains, liver pain, kidney pain, flushing, insomnia, jaw clenching, bloating, which led to my colon going into painful spasms, and it hasnt stopped (the spastic colon), but it seems to finally be tapering off some now with meds. I also have had lower back pains and lethargy since the first injection.
Im not blaming it on the melanotan II, Im blaming it on myself for ever injecting an unknown, untested substance into my body.
I think it really affects people with allergy problems (hyper immune systems) in a bad way.
Wow, well wishes your way rockin - generally the water soluble peptide delivered by slow absorption subcutaneous injection will have a max half-life of a couple hours (without any toxic effect). Certainly is a wise word of caution (peripheral effects of MT-2 are far reaching via the melanocortin system) - thanks for sharing - side-effects from Melanotan 2 are the real deal* :-X
Personally, I have not felt melanotan usage has ever negatively effected my allergies.* To this day, MT-2 has never increased my wbc or caused any red flags in blood-work...certainly never experienced kidney pain (liver pain is something I question...unsure how that's achieved) while using melanotan peptides (or ever...).* Bloating, gas and gi discomfort on melanotan over-dosage is a concern I relate w/. Flushing (imho) is a clear indication of overdose (or simply being sensitive ...possibly from not desensitizing to the super-potent tanning injection for maximum result) - dosing strategy/due diligence/best advice is to not use Melanotan II (do as I say, not as I do_) - if you must, respect the 50mcg MT-2 dosage via research peptide injection - ensure pure peptides are used - sub-par products do exist
Moreover, inflammation properties from micro-dosing mt2 have had an amazing benefit - my gi tract has never felt better (religious fiber therapy/intake!). Too much Melanotan 2 and tanning requires 3/x day showers...oily skin and ingrown hairs possible - melanotan 1 does not have great effect on gi tract, appetite, aphrodisiac, etc
Lethargy is luckily not a side effect for melanotan & me. Proper dosages of Mt2 generally are uplifting and productive. Energy balance and each individual's melanocortin system varies so greatly...difficult to understand /forecast how one will react - amazing how different we all are....
Insomnia, anxiety, jaw clenching, back pains..thankful I also have zero associations w/ a-MSH usage & experimentation
Hi!* I have only been using this product for 1.5 weeks and after 5 injections (2.5 foor 2 days, 3.5 for 2 days, and 5 for 1 day) was starting to suffer similar side effects.* I felt really bloated and my sides ached which made me think something was wrong with my kidneys (and possibly liver).* I skipped the shots for 3 days because I was out of town and was starting to feel okay, but then did a shot at 5 mg last Monday night.* Tuesday, I was bloated again, and my body ached really badly, especially my back.* I took ibuprophin which didn't help at all and needed to use a heating pad on my lower back because I was in pain.* I thought I was getting sick but wasn't connecting these symptons to the injections so I did another shot on Tuesday night.* Wednesday I was feeling awful again and was thinking something was really wrong with me and was considering going to the doctor.* I didn't do any shots on Wednesday or Thursday, and by Friday was feeling much better.* That's when I started to suspect the Melanotan.
As an experiment, I did a shot of 5 mg on Friday night, and the symptoms returned on Saturday.* I'm pretty sure that I'm having a reaction to this drug or whatever you want to call it.* I didn't use large amounts and know how to dose, so it wasn't an overdose situation.* I have tanned 3 times and am getting good results as I am fairly light complected so some part of it was working as intended.*
I may try one more shot at a low dose (maybe 2 or 2.5 mg) and see if the side effects return as maybe my body isn't yet adjusted or is super senstive to this drug.* If the symptoms come back, I won't be using this product again.* As much as I like having a nice tan, I am afraid to think what this might be doing to the rest of my body and internal organs.
I wanted to post this because I haven't found anything like these side effects listed anywhere else on any websites.* As such, it was hard to put the pieces together relating the drug with these side effects.* I hope this post helps someone else in case they get the same side effects and aren't sure if they are connected to the shots.
