    Peptide calculator question

    ok so the syringes i have are monojet 1mL 20 G x 1/2"

im adding 2 mL of bac water to the 10mg vial of m2 (easy to do obviously, just 2 syringe fulls basically)

on peptide calculator, after filling everything in, it says for a 0.4 mg dose i need to draw up to "8 IUs" OR "tick mark #4"

so when they say "tick mark #4" do they just mean the 4th little line from the top of the syringe?? which would mean its the little line/tick just before the big "5" printed on the syringe... am i right?

just want to be 100% sure lol thanks

    Re: peptide calculator question

    Glad you ask jmf

Yes sir, on your 100unit or 1ml insulin syringe (20 gauge would be huge...fyi - hope it's a typo) there should be 50 lines total, equaling 100 units - so 4th line, tick mark 4 = 8 ius

    very small amount

    Re: peptide calculator question

    sorry i meant 29 gauge

oh and i just looked at one of the needles and it looks like there is 100 ticks on it...

its hard to explain but when looking at the syringe, there are 100 lines that alternate left to right (theres a bold line that runs down the syringe with 50 lines on one side and 50 lines on the other)... the left side starts from 5 then to 15, 25, 35, 45 and so on til it hits 95 at the end....... the right side starts from 10 then to 20, 30, 40, 50 and so on until it hits 100 at the end....

now im kinda confused now lol sorry chris

Fill the syringe 8% or 8 out of 100 units....* so many variations makes it confusing indeed

    Re: peptide calculator question

chris you must be so annoyed with me lol! i really dont mean to ask so many questions and be a burden here for you... but i realllyyy just want to make sure i know what im doing so i took some pics of the needles here

pic 1 is one angle of the needle (from the right).. showing the increments of 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, ect

pic 2 is another angle showing the middle... its kinda hard to see but there are 100 little lines/ticks (50 on each side of the middle line running downwards)

pic 3 is the last angle i took on the left side with increments of 5-15, 15-25, 25-35, ect

so then are these syringes i have considered as having 100 ticks (1 unit per tick marks) or 50 ticks (2 units per tick mark).... on peptide calculator it doesnt even let me change the setting to 100 ticks (keeps it at 50)
