Boom Dosing, When is it Too Much?
Boom Dosing, When is it Too Much?

Boom dosing usually occurs just before bedtime. This is when the athlete takes large doses of peptides that work together, usually to increase the amount of GH that is released while sleeping, to sleep away any negative side effects that may occur, such as lightheadedness, headaches and a general feeling of being tired. Dosers will usually boom dose with a cocktail of pepetides. I stumbled across boom dosing while researching Ipamorelin (also known as IPAM or NNC-26-0161). This growth hormone releasing peptide is popular for boom dosing as it has few side effects and offers great results when bulking up. The question on everyone’s lips is how much is too much though, and if boom dosing is actually worth it.
In one forum there was advice that only IPAM should be used to boom dose as it stimulates the pituitary gland to release large doses of GH at regular intervals for 5 hours or more, while side effects remain small. In fact it was mentioned that it had significantly less side effects than GHRP-6 on numerous occasions, and seeing as they both do a similar job, Ipamorelin would probably be the wiser choice. Furthermore the poster stated that the recommended dose of Ipamorelin is 2-5mg per boom dose before bed. Upon further investigation I found that it is also recommended to not use boom doses more than 3 times a week as your body builds up a tolerance to the peptides and you will effectively just be wasting your money, although it seems the jury is still out on this. Some people take a boom dose on top of their usual daily dose of 100mcg/100kg body weight (or more).
The dosage and intervals seemed to be a big concern amongst posters on all the forums I visited. Another big question was which drugs to use in combination. Most people opted for Ipamorelin because it also does not interfere with cortisol and prolactin, making it a safer option. On the other hand some people reported that they had little success with Ipamorelin. In either event one of the most popular additions to an Ipamorelin boom dose is CJC DAC. Although, as one of the posters here mentioned, it is probably a good idea to stick to a lower dose routine and maintain it with steady increase than to bombard your body with a bunch of hormones that will effectively counteract each other, rendering your administrations useless and your money wasted.
Therefore, I personally conclude that boom dosing is a waste of money in general. Yes, it will probably give you an initial boom and make you feel great for a while, but getting the most effective results for your specific, unique body will take a lot of trial and error. If you’re just starting out with dosing I would advise talking to an expert, firstly. Then possibly playing around with a couple of peptides for a month or two each (if you have horrible side effects you should stop using them immediately). And finally, make up your own cocktail of bodybuilding supplements that aids your specific needs in the long run. There’s nothing worse for your health than to mess around with high doses of any drug, especially if you don’t know what you’re dealing with. Every body is different and reacts differently, but most importantly, good things take time. Having a killer body won’t be worth it if you feel like absolute crap more than half the time (remember that’s why most people prefer to take boom doses before bed time).
