    melatonin before ghrp

I found a study where guys took 10mg melatonin 1 hour prior to ghrp usage and it doubled the GH response. Does anybody do this? I was thinking pre bed would be a good time to do that. Also, is 10mg melatonin safe for daily usage?

Do you have a link to the study? The only study I know of used GHRH, not GHRP.

That is the correct one my mistake. This is the study. Melatonin stimulates growth hormone secretion through pathways other than the growth hormone-releasing hormone. - PubMed - NCBI

Would we get the same effect with melatonin before ghrp/grf dosage?

Melatonin is a mild to moderate somatostatin inhibitor (somatostatin silences GHRH's effects). GHRP is a very profound somatostatin inhibitor so melatonin wouldn't be necessary for that purposes if you are comparing the GHRP/GRF combo.

One study using 10mg melatonin one hour prior to sleep for 28 days in people aged 28+/-5 years (n=30) noted that this decreased sleep latency could occur without benefit to REM latency/density or sleep architecture.

So, it's safe to use 10mg melatonin for daily use. It actually helps you to sleep faster.

This is interesting. Here we have a side effect that helps you sleep better. Good information for those who have problems falling asleep.
