    Little white dots on skin

Has anyone else got these? i looked it up it seems its called tinea versicolor but mine is not as severe as some of the pics on google images.

I have a few little dots on my ab area and my inner chest a little patch of white skin. been off MT2 for a while and sunbeds.

Ordered some Ketoconazole shampoo as i heard it helps

I got some white patches on my abs last summer in tanning bed. They disappeared when i got normal sun, but you could see them when my tan started fading again. This year they are gone, only using tanning bed.

Is it a skin condition or just a side effect?

I'm guessing skin condition. been reading about other peoples stories they tend to come from sun beds. didn't notice these when i was using natural sun light with mt2! just wanted to make sure

It smells like skin fungus, have you used solarium beds? i would double check if they are properly cleaned before each use.

If it's not the sunbeds and the keto shampoo doesn't fix it, look into this http://dermnetnz.org/colour/guttate-hypomelanosis.html

Have you been exposed to the sun for too long recently? It might be that.

Could be. I also noticed that on my mother's skin when she went to the beach. It's still there now, but maybe because her skin gets affected by sun exposure easily because she's old.

Yeah, I've seen this too in old people.

Aside from too much sun exposure, are there any other reasons why these spots emerge?
