    sex drive

A real good friend of mine has cycling different AAS and AI's for the past two years. He is and his wife are looking to get pregnant. He is on HCG, Novladex and Clomid. Unfortunately his sex drive is pretty much gone. This is obviously causing issue with them trying to get pregnant. I know his loss of libido is tied to discontinued AAS use so I suggested he try Melanotan II, a peptide, to spike his libido. It's the only substance I know which directly affects libido, I believe PT141 does this as well. Any advice?

I hear it's crazy. It affects both males and females. I need to do some more research on it. From what I've read so far it is the only known substance to directly target the libido. I know some bodybuilders who use it during contest prep because they use it to darken their skin. They tell me they have wood 24/7. Caring, I have heard that as well, some people don't respond to it.

He should go see a doctor instead of playing doctor. Get levels checked, see a fertility specialist who will use hcg, hmg and clomid.

Melanotan doesn't increase libido as far as I understand. You just get the occasional random erection. I've had it off cycle and it didn't increase sex drive at all.

Htpa suppression, he likely is shooting blanks. His libido is gone because he has no test to aromatize. Even if he reboots his t doesn't mean his sperm is back up. Yes, cialis will give him a boner. Congrats anyone who hasn't been living in a cave knows that, its not going to get his wife pregnant. Get blood work fsh lh, get your sperm count checked too.

People here don't get the difference between a hard on and libido. You can have all the hard ons you want but if you have no libido you won't want to do anything with them.

Why dont check Labs first? High prolactin? Low T? High E? Cialis wont improve your libido.

It's freaking impossible to get labs done in NY, unless your doc will write a script. If you do that, it goes on your record. Some people are lucky enough to have physicians that'll do it off the record, but those are far and few.

What's the issue with having it on your record? Will it affect insurance or something?

On your record? Hahaha omg... Go to a doctor, tell him you and your wife are struggling to get pregnant, sends you to specialist, you are diagnosed hypogonadal as well as having low sperm count, treatment clomid, hcg and hmg. Plenty of men are shooting blanks. "I went to the doctor, he said I have low t. they put me on hrt..... Its on my record!" WTF

So anyhow, he won't see his doc on this. What should he do to get himself back in the mood? PT141?

Maybe he should man up and go see his doctor if he's serious about being a father instead of asking joe blow to prescribe him stuff with zero medical training (no offense to you Rem, you're trying to help). I hate this guy already because his problem is self inflicted yet he's not man enough to accept responsibility for his actions.

I am in no disagreement with that statement. I have mentioned seeing the doc several times already.

You're a good friend to help, but I'd leave it at "go see a doc or deal with it on your own." Unfair to have a friend worry about his ability to make babies when he's not taking the necessary steps.

It's like those people that have "tried everything short of diet and exercise" to lose weight yet complain about the negative aspects of being fat.

I also have to say that the best thing to do first is go and see the doctor. I think a lot of men will feel embarrassed but it's certainly more common than people think and can be downloaded to alsorts of different reasons.

Worrying about it will also be making it worse so at least when that first step is taken they'll know what they're up against and can THEN decide the best way to go about dealing with the problem..

There is a good chance he might have bought fake post cycle therapy products, or at least altered products. For instance, HCG needs to be transported and kept in a cool temperature or otherwise it gets bad.

Even if he doesn't have a high libido, it doesn't mean that he can't have erections as well. If you're trying to have a baby, it doesn't matter if you are in the mood, honestly. You just to what you have to do and home that your swimmers will be powerful enough to break through the egg.

However, your friends needs to solve his libido problem (maybe with a phychologist?), because it can and it will affect him on the long run.

The psychological effects was what I was meaning when I said the more a person thinks there's a problem, the more there is one.

Usually the not knowing is the worst part, and when you do pluck up the courage to face your fears, most of the time it's not half as bad as you thought it would be.
