MT2 making your brain foggy? + No more solariums in Australia :(

My roommate and I (both 20 year old females) have been using MT2 for some time now. We have actually both felt its been making our brains sort of 'foggy'. My roommate came home from uni one day saying she just felt unmotivated and sort of down the whole day, when she is usually extremely outgoing and chatty its made her more reserved. I can also relate to these exact feelings, and unless I have a coffee or two during the day, I feel like i have zero energy or motivation.

Can anyone else relate to this?
Upon stopping the melanotan for a couple days (were loading at the moment) I feel like my brain clears a bit and I can actually do my uni work.

Also with the recent banning of tanning beds in Australia, and it now coming into Winter, tanning is now becoming an issue! Were loading but unable to get colour due to this! Whats everyone else doing?

I've never heard of Melanotan affecting personality or memory but there are Melanin receptors within the brain if I remember right. On the note of tanning, I'd always assume Austrailia was a sunny paradise(despite all the animals that can kill you) all year round. If you can't get UV, I wouldn't bother taking Melanotan.

Can't say I've ever assoc brain fog or motivation issues with MT2 usage. Without tanning beds and natural UV exposure available, I think low dosage MT (+ heavy vitamin d supplementation) delivers plenty results/health benefits. For further reassurance, MT-1 does not cross the blood brain barrier...may keep that product in the back of your mind had you experiment in the future (could be especially good while at the university...as imho MT-2 doesn't always mix well when stressed/anxious). Thanks for the question AussiegalMT2, please keep us up to speed on you & your mate!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but can you elaborate on this a little bit?

More than less, I agree with Alex...but I must share that melanotan peptides have done right by me when used sunless.... Sun is often the secret sauce (for arriving at a beautiful tan/glow), however not crucial for certain skin types/folks to benefit from administrations of potent melanocyte-stimulating hormone off-season (ie.: thickening the skin, darkening of the beard, lessening redness/rosacea, reducing acne and inflammation...occurs for me at low dosages w/o sunlight).

I see. I was asking because I have been protecting my skin a lot from the sun for the last year or so. I have been taking vitamin D supplements in part because of this, and I was thinking just the other day how supplementing with alpha-msh too could simulate the full spectrum health benefits of UV exposure even though I am getting very little now (benefits separate from of having less pale skin/added protection, because sun exposure has other proven health benefits).

I had thought you firmly believed you need UV exposure for MT to work at all. I would be extremely pleased if a low dose of MT-1 (or 2) could do the things you mentioned.

I've not been very active here lately as we've been pretty busy, so only replied to PMs - hopefully I'll be a little more present in the open forums again over the next few weeks.

I'd like to back up what some of the others have said and say that quite a lot of things are psychological, and you could be linking the MT2 to the foggy mind. If you believe that it's the MT2, when you stop you could feel a bit better - but it's most likely down to stress or other causes.

I also believe that if you have enough time to get a decent tan built up before winter hits, MT2 makes quite an efficient sunless maintainer or that tan.
Normally MT2 can work at incredibly low amounts of UV, but you also have to match that with very low dosages and more time. If you try using high doses and low UV you'll likely develop an odd grey/yellow tinge to your skin.
