    Ear Problems Connected with MT2

Has anyone experienced any ear related problems while on MT2?

    Can you elaborate more?

    Pain / discomfort?
    Discolouration / odd pigmentation?

I haven't personally experienced any issues but it could help others confirm or deny.

Re: Ear Problems Connected with MT2

Well about 7 months ago, I had taken a combination of Cialis/MT2. I had used the compounds before with good results and no real side effects. I have taken MT2 for a combined total of probably 2 years or so However, after taking them the last time 7 months ago (10-15MG Cialis and 2 injections of .25 of MT2), I noticed I had a full/pressure sensation in my ears (switching randomly from side to side) and also sensitivity to sound, sometimes slight slight ringing only only noticeable in very quiet rooms. Hearing tests came back perfect and my doctor thought it might have been the Cialis or possibly TMJ. I've been dealing with the problem for a while now and mostly it isn't a big factor in my life. I figured it was the Cialis because it has documented ear side effects.

I also around that time had nearly finished with my Invisalign treatment. I've heard that braces can cause TMJ and TMJ can lead to ear problems.

I started taking MT2 again, about 3-4 .25 injections in and it seems my symptoms have seemed to get slightly worse. It could be in my head, anxiety will make you notice all sorts of things. Also my condition already has up and downs, some days are its noticeable some days it's not. It's hard to pin it on the MT2 due to the variability of my symptoms.*

The research I've done suggests that MT2 doesn't effect the systems that control the ear. It stimulates melanocytes correct? The theory with Cialis is that it effects the vascular system, which can potentially hurt your delicate hearing system. So I swore off using that stuff forever. MT2 doesn't effect the vascular system as far as I know.

Also another question, I previously used to dose .5 every day until I reached the level of tan I wanted. Would it be safe to go with .25 EOD as a Type 1 or will that not be enough to work?

M2 does alot more than stimulate melanocytes. It acts on several melanocortin receptors. I use it in very small doses. Its not something to be taken lightly IMHO. Google Melanocortin receptors.

This definitely sounds anxiety related. I've personally had the sensitivity to sound/ears ringing before (when I was stressed and had too much caffeine). http://www.anxietycentre.com/anxiety/symptoms/pulsing-in-the-ear.shtml

Of course the MT could be related, as the other guy said it can attach to other melanocortin receptors. Or injecting it gives you a little anxiety because of the needle.

I did some research and none of the receptors seemed to deal with the auditory or vascular system. I'll have to research more. What is your dosing schedule/skin type?

Re: Ear Problems Connected with MT2

    Hey there,

I've developed ear ringing over the past two months too. I cant figure out if it's related to MT2. I've been taking MT2 for about six years by injection and recently switched to nasal spray. I wonder if this switch caused the problem.

My doctor says the eustachian tube is blocked, which is causing the ringing. I have tried Flonase and a steroid regimen to correct the issue, but no luck so far.

eightythree - can you DM me who your supplier is/was? This might help us figure out if the problem comes from a bad batch.

don't know about MT2 problems with the ears but the PDE5 inhibitors you are using have been known to cause a loss of hearing over long tern use, google it and you will find info on it.
