Has anyone seen this MT2 product?.

Greetings champs, I bought 20 mg vial of MT2 and wanted to ask if someone has seen this?.

I can get sterile water and sodium chloride from the pharmacy which is more preferable for mixing?. Thanks

sodium chloride sterile water has no way to stop bacteria growth.

Sodium Chloride is adequate for this, as long as everything is kept sterile you should have no issues.

It's what we supply due to Bacteriostatic water requiring a prescription, and thus is harder and more expensive to source.

Just check it is suitable for injection as some are eye wash ampules and not always suitable.

I use this sterile eye wash plastic 30ml ampules, and add Benzyl Alcohol into, so I get bacteriostatic sodium chloride ]It works for me and I get no sides of MT2.

Why are eye wash ampules not always suitable?

I'm not entirely sure, it may be other chemicals in the solution or it could even be that they charge more once they put 'for injection' and don't want people using the cheaper eyewash solutions?

I'd have to check with somebody and get back to you on that one!

It's fine just to use sterile water, bacteriostatic is not necessary for reconstitution.
