So, I am very interested in testing melanotan II. I'm not sure if it's right for me. If you guys' have time, please read my post and reply on some of them if you'd like. Thanks so much for any feedback.
1) I would say that I'm a type 2 body, VERY hard to tan (only had a tan once in my life) and because of that I have lots of sun damage on my back and arms. What will my sun damage look like under the effects of melanotan?
2) I have a large tattoo on my right upper arm, what happens to the colors and look of this tattoo?
3) I have red/brown/blonde and black hair in my beard. It looks like these colors could all turn black, which would be wonderful, is this an common result?
4) What do you tell your friends/coworkers? They will notice if I turn tan, and it's hard to lie and say that I've been tanning this whole time. What were the results of telling your friends and family?
5) I'm heading to hawaii for two weeks in October. I'd very very very much like to spend a lot of time outside as I am an avid scuba diver. I'd love to have a perfect tan by then, but I would very much like to take melanotan II in low doses. If I were to take low doses, would there be enough time for me to get to perfect color by October?
6) I was thinking I would just take get one vial of 10 mg to prepare for hawaii, but is this enough. Money isn't an issue... I'd like to take as small of a dose as possible to achieve a decent tan. I do not care to get super dark, just dont want to glow like I currently do and burn so easily. Where would be the best place to buy the safest and cleanest melanotan II and get shipped to the US?
Again, thanks so much for any feedback. Looks like a great and helpful community.
**EDIT**: I forgot to ask a question about legality in the US. Is this something people can get in trouble for?
Re: Possible new tester, have questions - good luck
Fantastic questions, hope to help twoniner
Sun damaged areas and photo-therapy are tricky - my position is that it's best to avoid exposure and after time if candidate enjoys synthetic melanocyte stimulating hormone use the systemic peptide hopefully will add protection
Nothing should happen to the tattoo colors - generally melanotan users do not have issue with body art
Indeed, after 3-4 weeks of melanotan 2 injections users with ginger hairs transition to dark (beard)
None of your friends/co-workers business, an issue to share with trusted professionals (and maybe family). If you turn tan and do not appear foolish looking from abuse, compliments should outweigh criticism.
Perfect color by Oct may be overly ambitious, however there is time to prepare the skin for best results during vacation
Agreed, 1-2 10mg vials of melanotan 2 should be plenty for perspective/results - buypeptides.com has fast service to USA
MT-II is legal to buy, possess, use, etc - however best to keep private (not in cars or carry-on)
It would be great to get the extra protection on my sun damage. Would these areas be at risk for getting the dark moles some people talk about? That seems to be more prevalent in the 3+ body types (as far as I know).
As far as dosage. It seems like that varies greatly. I only plan on getting 2 10mg vials I suppose, so does something like this seem normal?]
Day 1 10 Units
Day 2 10 Units
Day 3 10 Units
Day 4 15 Units
Day 5 15 Units
Day 6 15 Units
Day 7 20 Units
Day 8 20 Units
Day 9 20 Units
** Continue at 20 units until desired color is reached.
**Above dosage based on a 10mg vial mixed with 100 units of water
**Discontinue Loading Phase when desired color is reached, then move on to Maintenance Phase

Dark moles are something that remains a mystery to me personally as I have not encountered any
Melanotan peptides should be measured in mg (or mcg) - if I were to approach those stout unit #s I would mix the 10mg vials with 200-300 (double-triple outline above) units water (as an initial dose of 1000mcg or 1mg is very large)
I've ordered some melanotan, hoping for great results. Trying to decide what else to buy as far as insulin needles and bacteriostatic water. Where do people normally buy these items? I was looking at amazon but there are so many types of needles. I'm not sure which kind I should shoot for. Any suggestions?

Amazon is best for United States melanotan peptide researchers - seek out one store/shipper (from amazon.com) & purchase a few large insulin syringes (100 unit, 1/2")...and for variety & precision I like to also purchase 30 and/or 50 unit insulin syringes (29-30 gauge needles are painless/effective)
Alright, I've ordered 1cc 1/2 inch 30g insulin syringes, 30ml of bacteriostatic water, and some alcohol prep pads. Thanks so much for your help.
So my plan is to add 100 units of water (in the 1cc syringe) to the container holding the melanotan. Then swish it gently to ensure it's mixed well. After that I will inject 1/2 unit to see how my body reacts. Then the plan is to go to 3/4 of a unit every day after that. Does this sound acceptable?
I suppose I'll start getting in the tanning booth 3 or 4 days after the first injection only for 6-8 minutes. I'll try to do that 2 times a week.

Good deal, happy to help! Your plan is sound and I like your dosing/tanning strategy. Further I would urge 100 more units (200 units or 2ml total) of water to mix with the 10mg Melanotan vial as measuring fractions of units with large insulin syringes can be difficult - doubling the bacteriostatic water used will make the measurement easily & waste less* 8)
Ok, I'll put 200 units of water to mix with my 10mg melanotan. I hope it'll all fit in the small vial. If I double my water, would it be ok to then switch to 1 unit doses?
I trust your input as you seem like you are very educated on these matters. Just for my information, how will doubling the water help with measurement and wasting less? Thanks so much for all of the info you have provided me.
Great, I believe you'll benefit from reconstituting the 10mg mt-2 w/ 2ml
Multi-dose vials can typically hold over 3ml of water, however you'll want to pay special attention to the vial pressure
adding more water means less will be wasted inside your syringe/needle & vial upon disposal (it's small, I know )
Tonight will mark my third injection. This is a note to ask you guys if I am performing the injection right, and i'm not the only one with these side effects. To preface a bit, I added 150 iu's (that would be 100 marks on my 1cc insulin needle, then 50 more) of bacteriostatic water to my melanotan II vial. I swish it around a bit before drawing the solution from the vial and performing the injection. I take alcohol prep pads and wipe down the melanotan vial and the injection spot, then I pinch the fatty area to the right of my belly button and at a 45degree angle, insert the needle in and inject the solution. Am I doing this correctly?* I'm storing my melanotan vial in the refrigerator and only taking it out for injections. I'm inserting the insulin needle the entire length of the syringe which is 1/2".
My dosage has been .6IU, that is I draw up to the third mark inside of the 10 on my 1cc insulin needles.
The first evening I did the injection, my face became very flush and hot feeling. This lasted about 30 minutes. Immediately after the injection and until I fell asleep the injection spot was itchy and had a slight burning sensation.
The second evening (last night) I did the injection the face being flush feeling was dramatically lessened. I only barely felt it after I turned the tv off and laid there a few minutes (trying to go to sleep). That being said, the injection spot was more itchy/burning than the previous night. Last night after injecting, I took the alcohol prep pad that I had used and wiped it over where I received the injection and that made the itchyness/burning sensation go away for approximately 30 seconds, but then it reappared.
I'm hoping you guys will let me know that I'm performing this correctly, and everything is normal.

Great, advice upon initiating mt-2 can be to dose an anti-histamine to combat any discomfort/itchiness - otherwise the ~200mcg dosages you state sound on par - however most injections should not itch (sometimes when you take too great of an angle, you may not be administering all within the subcutaneous layer..not injecting deep enough can cause redness/itching,fyi)

Sterile water injections feel like they burn, bacteriostatic water or bacteriostatic sodium chloride solutions are the most user-friendly reconstitution products. Good to hear updates on the rapidly desensitizing to the melanotan peptide, glad you are not flushing, increasing in temp/etc any longer. The alcohol prep pads I use are discarded after each use and I understand it is only moving around/away dirt, not sterilizing the body or anything. Thanks again for the great details, I can certainly give you a A grade - keep the questions/specifics coming & best of luck!
I've done 6 injections now, and they are much easier to do. I still have the itching and burning, but not as bad as when I started, and the sensation doesn't last as long. The injections are much better when I go at maybe a 75 to 80 degree angle from my stomach.
I have more freckles now, and some of my older freckles got really dark. I was hoping I wouldn't be one of the people to experience this, but I most definitely am. My girlfriend even noticed, so she's slightly freaked out. I wonder if maybe I have those freckles because I didn't spend any time in the sun like i was supposed to. I tanned today for the first time for 7mins 30 seconds in a tanning booth, and I have a slight red tint to me, so I will see what I look like tomorrow.* I have not noticed the heightened sex drive or any kind of stomach pain since I've started melanotan II, which is strange as these seemed to be the most common side effects.
According to peptidecalculator, I have been taking a 400mcg dose each injection. I think instead of going to the third tick on my syringe, tonight I will start doing the second, just to lower the dose to 250 or 300mcg and hopefully help with my darkening spots. I will tan again on Thursday and see how it works out.
The itching and burning post-melanotan injection remains unique/rare (except perhaps if sterile water or other itchy product is used for reconstitution) - while the altered state of pigmentation is about 95% guaranteed (most if not all committed melanotan users notice dramatic changes &/or freak-outs...whether they originate from self or family). Hopeful your sunburn while on melanocortin agonist will leave darker pigment behind in a few days. Good move on going with peptide calculator and adjusting dosage - glad that helped & continued good luck!!!
I must say, that after last night, I injected* and had no pain or itching. I think the reason I've been getting the burning itching has something to do with how I insert the needle. Typically it takes me 4 or 5 minutes to build up the courage to inject myself. Last night, I wasted no time and just went ahead with it, but I inserted the needle MUCH faster, which resulted in no pain on insertion (30g needle has been hurting even though it shouldn't) and no burning or itching. I think I've been inserting it too slow this whole time...hope this helps someone else out there.

Absolutely, the art of darting the subcutaneous injection - experience will only get better* 8)
