Does Melanotan II Cause Darkening of Eye Color?

First, I'd like to say hi! I'm new to the forum, but have been reading some great info on Melanotan II. I just ordered 3 vials & am going to experiment this summer.

I read some information about how Melanotan II can cause darkening of the hair because of increased melanocyte activity. But I was wondering if it will cause increased pigmentation of the iris as well? I did a search in the forum but couldn't find anything on it's effect on eye color. My eye color is a light blue/green with a gold starburst around the pupil. I'm kind of nervous that it may darken my eye color along with my skin & hair. Any research or experiences with this? Is it a possibility or am I worrying needlessly?
    Thanks!*

Re: Does Melanotan II Cause Darkening of Eye Color?

Welcome, best of luck this summer & thanks for posting fitnessguru!

Melanotan II certainly has never effected the color of my eyes, nor anything I have ever come across.* Since there are melanocytes...that help your body clock (day/night)...you want to protect your eyes from excess UVR - particularly while on potent melanotropin hormones.* Only hair you should expect to darken is on your face.* Great you are aware of the potential effects of MT-II, but do not overly concern yourself with the wild stories* 8)

Re: Does Melanotan II Cause Darkening of Eye Color?

    Hi Chris!
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I couldn't find any mention of eye color change so I wasn't overly concerned. It was just a passing thought that piqued my interest. I'm waiting for my MT2 to come & will start out very slow & low. I am a Type I skin type with light hair & eyes & some freckles, so it will be interesting to see what transpires. If I have time I will do a log, but I've got a lot of pots on my burners, so I don't know if I can commit to that. But I will definitely post some updates as I progress. Thanks for all the great info!
