    Peptide-Guide: GHRP-6

    Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide (GHRP-6)
    [b]
GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide) Dose]

    Light]Common:* 100mcg
    Large]
Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide (GHRP-6) is a peptide in the growth factor family.* It has strong effect on the release of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) in a specific and dose-related manner.* GHRP can be effectively used in the treatment of growth hormone (GH) deficiency.* Growth hormone releasing hexapeptide works by signaling the pituitary gland to begin growth hormone secretion.

Increased GH and IGF-1 levels are highly desirable for those looking to improve physique.* Human growth hormone has been known to enhance immune response and stimulate the immune system, particularly older subjects.* Dosed at night for anti-aging purposes and multiple times throughout the day for anabolism.* GHRP is often used in conjunction with GHRH CJC-1295 (GRF 1-29) to amplify growth hormone pulse.* Avoid fats and carbohydrate a half hour on each side of dosing GHRP-6.

Bodybuilders and athletes utilize GHRP in an effort to build more muscle and burn fat.* Some GHRP-6 users include it in their post cycle therapy (PCT).* Cycling GHRP-6 in the off weeks from IGF/GH cycles is also becoming prevalent.* Researchers wish to kick-start their body into producing their own natural GH & IGF, while gaining as if they remained on the GH/IGF peptides.

GHRP-6's main use is to promote food intake by stimulating hunger and aid in energy metabolism.* The major side effect being a significant increase in appetite due to a stimulating the release of Ghrelin (about 20 minutes post injection), a hormone released naturally in the lining of the stomach and increases hunger and gastric emptying.* This is why GHRP-6 can be used in the treatment of cachexia (wasting), eating disorders and obesity.

Benefits of increased HGH levels through GHRP-6 stimulation include]
    GHRP-6 Peptide]

[b]Mixing]* Bacteriostatic water is used for reconstitution.* When diluted, peptide lasts a very long time when left alone in the refrigerator (months)

Example-* 2.5ml(cc) bacteriostatic water per 5mg GHRP vial equates to a 100mcg dose approximately each 2-3 marks on a U100 insulin syringe.
Example-* 5ml(cc) bacteriostatic water per 5mg GHRP vial equates to a 100mcg dose approximately every 5 marks on a U100 insulin syringe.

[b]Dosing]* The saturation dose of GHRP-6 has been determined to be around 100mcg.* More is not better in regards to this secretalogue

    5mg GHRP* = 5,000mcg

    5,000mcg/100mcg =* 50 100mcg GHRP doses per 5mg

GHRP-6 may be the most cost effective secretalogue available today

    GHRP-6 Simplified

GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide – 6) is a 28-amino-acid peptide that signals the human body to begin secreting growth-hormone (GH). Growth Hormone in the human body has host of beneficial effects such as decreased body fat, increased muscle, and increased strength and stamina. The Growth Hormone secreted by the body then causes the liver to secrete the highly anabolic hormone known as IGF-1. IGF-1 also contributes greatly to the body’s ability to burn fat and build muscle. Thus, in several studies, when subjects were given GHRP-6, their muscle mass increased and their body fat was reduced significantly.

Both Growth Hormone as well as IGF-1 also has several beneficial effects on collagen and bone tissue growth, and it would be expected that by using GHRP-6, users would experience the full spectrum of benefits typically seen with the use of GH and possibly the concurrent use of both GH and IGF-1.

In several studies done in both humans and rodents, it has further been found that GHRP-6 has a rapid effect on Ghrelin. Ghrelin would appear to be involved in excess weight gain, adiposity, and insulin resistance. This occurs during both high fat as well as high carbohydrate diets.GHRP-6 is a Ghrelin antagonist, meaning that it actually fights against Grehlin in the human body, and this may be one possible mechanism by which it helps to reduce bodyfat.

Growth hormone (GH) has been also been known to enhance immune responses and stimulate the immune system, whether directly or through the insulin like growth factor-1 signaled secretion caused by GH. GHRP-6 has also been shown to have this immune enhancing effect, particularly older subjects.

Bodybuilders and athletes have recently started using GHRP-6 in an effort to build more muscle and burn more fat. Typically, it is used on (or instead of) a cycle of anabolic steroids. However, some of the more creative users of this compound have been including it in their Post Cycle Therapy instead of GH, and even more have been cycling GHRP-6 in the off weeks from their IGF/GH cycles, in an effort to kick-start their body into producing their own natural GH & IGF, but at the same time getting the same results as if they remained on the GH/IGF cycle.

    GHRP-6 - Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6
    Sequence]Molecular Formula: C 46 H 56 N 12 O 6
    Molecular Weight]Purity (HPLC): 98% min
    Package]Buy GHRP-6

General GHRP 6 Info]Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6 (GHRP-6) is capable of stimulatory effect on growth hormone (GH) secretion with minimal stimulator effect in levels of prolactin and cortisol.

GHRP-6 is not an active fragment of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). It is one of several synthetic met-enkephalin analogs that include unnatural D-amino acids that were developed for their growth hormone releasing activity and are called growth hormone secretagogues.

It is now known that these growth hormone releasing peptides are distinct from GHRH and do not act at the GHRH receptor, but instead act at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, now renamed as the ghrelin receptor.

GHRP-6 has been shown in studies to affect and induce growth hormone secretion. The response of natural physiologic system includes increase in levels of calcium ion influx alongside with increased release of growth hormones in response to this peptide.

    GHRP6

GHRP-6, a polypeptide hormone, is a growth hormone secretagogue and ghrelin mimetic and analog.* GHRP-6 is from the first generation of GHRPs and causes significant release of growth hormone by itself, due both to its suppression of somatostatin (an antagonist to GHRH) and stimulation of release of GH from the anterior pituitary.* The cells that produce and release GH are known as somatotropes.* Like GHRP-2, GHRP-6 does not have ghrelin’s lipogenic properties.* Unlike GHRP-2, GHRP-6 induces hunger consistently in mammals. GHRP-6 acts synergistically when applied during a native GHRH (growth-hormone releasing hormone) pulse or when coadministered with GHRH or a GHRH analog such as Sermorelin or GRF 1-29 (growth releasing factor, aminos 1-29).[1]* The synergy comes both due to the suppression of somatostatin and the fact that GHRP-6 increases GH release per-somatotrope, while* GHRH increases the number of somatotropes releasing GH.[1,2] There is also a secondary effect of neuronal excitation in the hypothalamus caused by GHRP-6, which lasts for approximately 3 hours after application, similar to GHRP-2.

Because they increase GH release to a degree dependent on their application, any GH secretagogue used at an effective dose offers the benefits of GH.* Increased collagen production, better cellular repair of internal organs, increased healing capability, increased energy, improved sleep, increased lean body mass, and reduced body fat are all documented effects of GH.* However, unlike the exogenous synthetic e. coli-derived 22kDa growth hormone in application, the resultant GH pulse from GHRP-6 lasts about three hours instead of eight. Overexposure to GH – that is, GH release that does not adhere to normal pulsatile rhythms of the body (a steeper curve, with a sharp peak and rapid decline) but instead lasts longer and does not reach the same amplitude (a shallow curve, with a slow rise and descent over eight hours) – results in cellular desensitization to the effects of GH.* GH secretagogues do not result in cellular desensitization to GH in any quantity; the pituitary may stop responding to the signal the compounds indicate if they are used in extreme quantities, but when administered* up to every three hours GHRP-6 can result in supraphysiological levels of GH that are nonetheless reasonably safe, unlike exogenous GH.

Each GH secretagogue – GHRP-2, GHRP-6, ipamorelin, hexarelin, etc – has unique properties beyond release of GH.* As demonstrated in the rat, GHRP-6 does have some lipogenic properties that are additive but are dependent on insulin/glucose states.* Granado et al find that “GHRP-6 and insulin exert an additive effect on weight gain and visceral fat mass accrual in diabetic rats, indicating that some of GHRP-6's metabolic effects depend on the insulin/glucose status.” [3] The rats who were administered GHRP-6 when insulin was quiet did not experience the same effects on adiposity and weight gain when compared to either group (insulin or insulin with GHRP-6).

    GHRP-6 Peptide Craze

GHRP-6 & The Peptide Hormone Craze
It seems everyone is raving on peptide hormones as the amazing 'new thing' in lazy, drug-induced muscle growth and fat loss. The fact is, injectable peptide hormones have been around for decades. The diabetic hormone Insulin is a peptide hormone and it was first available in the 1920's!

    When Peptides Came To Fame
But Growth Hormone (GH) was the peptide hormone that changed everything. GH was credited to creating the new era of muscular bodybuilding monsters from around the time Lee Haney arrived in the 80's. And demand for the drug - and its reputation as being THE underground 'secret of the pros' - was bolstered by its mind-blowingly expensive price and rarity.

Then IGF-1 hit the black market before it was even an approved drug and the mystery and rumors surround GH, Insulin and IGF reached fever pitch. Steroids were old news. Now, if you want to look like a pro bodybuilder you just need to get enough of the right peptides.

    GHRP-6
Which brings us to GHRP-6. GH Releasing Peptide is cheap and... well, currently not illegal to purchase over the internet. As the name suggests, it causes GH release; so people figure it must be exactly the same as GH and therefore will make them look like a pro bodybuilder in no time, with no effort and without all the rest of the drugs. Unfortunately, you won't look anything like a pro bodybuilder from using GHRP-6. The only reason it is so HUGELY popular is because finally Mr Average can AFFORD something that looks like the hardcore 'gear' the pro's use... except not.

I don't know anybody who got anything out of GHRP-6 whatsoever! At least, nothing over and above what might be expected from the other 'things' they were doing/taking at the time. In fact, when really pressed, nobody I know seems to know of anybody else who got any great benefit out of it either. All of the guys I know who still use it only do because it is cheap and they don't want to risk not taking it, 'in case it helps'.

    So Why Use GHRP-6?
Everybody knows that pro bodybuilders use lots of drugs and, these days, are as lazy as sin in the gym. The conclusion for many people is that drugs or injecting/boosting your naturally occurring hormones is the only way to build muscle.

Supplements are selling like crazy in response to the belief that the solution to an awesome physique is in a bottle. And if your muscles don't arrive you don't blame your hopeless training or disgraceful diet. You just got the wrong bottle of magic potion.

Many young guys will inject anything they possibly can afford and get and then strangely believe they are transforming into a pro bodybuilder just by being so 'hardcore' as to be taking a drug. I knew a guy who kicked in the door of his own car in a claimed 'roid rage' only minutes after injecting himself with some cooking oil that he thought was a steroid.

Here is a story to illustrate what I mean about the seriously deluded misrepresenations that bodybuilders make about their drugs and supplements]
    The PGF Experiment
A few years ago I followed with interest the writings of a hardcore drug abusing bodybuilder as he did a 4 week experiment with PGF-2; one of the newish growth factors that is one of the most potent muscle building hormones in the body and WAY more significant than GHRP-6 could ever dream of being.

He wound up having to take most of the 4 weeks off work because the explosive diarrhoea and acute flu-like symptoms that he - and everyone using PGF - got after each of his 5 daily injections made work impossible.

The whole time he couldnt hold down any of his food or it went straight through him and 'out the back door'. He could hardly train either because the drug caused massive muscle pain; not to mention the muscle pumps from minimal training were apparently crippling.

He had stacked the drug on top of an especially 'heavy' cycle of very high dose steroids, GH, Insulin, T3 and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. He did so to give the PGF the "best chance of working". But he used all of these drugs all year round so they "weren't doing anything" for him any more.

Despite the pain and discomfort he was in, he persisted with the PGF because he was quickly "blowing up" AND getting "shredded" all at the same time. In all his years of drugs he'd never seen anything like the transformation that was taking place. He was getting bigger and leaner everyday. Muscle was literally piling on him as the fat melted away. It was incredible.

At the end of 4 weeks of diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach cramps, headaches and all over muscular pain his conclusion was that it had been more than worth it. He had grown so much muscle and lost so much fat that it had transformed his physique. He even measured it; his total body composition change totalled]
2 pounds of muscle gain and 1 pound of fat lost.

Yep. All that hell and he gained 900grams of muscle while losing 450g of fat. Yet in his own mind, he got MASSIVE and RIPPED!

When Peptides Become Relevant to Bodybuilding Training
It all comes back to what I've always said]
But if the physique of a lean 260kg deadlifter is not muscular enough for you (eg typically around 95kg at 8% bodyfat at 180cm) then you are going to probably need unnatural means to achieve your unnatural goals. Very low dose, testosterone optimisation therapy can help a successfully training athlete to achieve a 300kg deadlift and a great physique (eg around 105kg at 8% at 180cm).

If you still want more unnatural levels of muscle then you probably need to break the law and cycle higher doses of testosterone and/or add GH. Beyond a 340kg deadlift (growing bigger than around 115-125kg at 8% at 180cm) you'll probably need to stay on higher doses of steroids year round.

By the time you reach the muscularity capable of a 360kg deadlift (ie over 130kg, lean at 180cm) as a career-criminal steroid user, then progress will probably be determined by cycles of insulin with GH and IGF-1 and all the rest.

This is the point at which these peptide growth factors become relevant]
    Conclusion
When you hear from a bloke that GHRP-6 is MIND-BLOWING AWESOMENESS in a bottle, just remember my story above about exactly how mind-blowing PGF2 was! Whoever you are, GHRP-6 is definitely NOT the solution to ANY of your physique or training problems!

    Which GHRP?

GHRP-6 is sloppier in that it activates a wider array of effects beyond GH release. It causes intense hunger and gastic motility. It can have a mild effect on cortisol and prolactin. It is a first generation GHRP.

GHRP-2 is less sloppy with a more intense GH release, no gastric motility and less hunger effect. It can have an effect within the normal range on prolcatin and cortisol. It is a second generation peptide.

Ipamorelin is not sloppy at all. It does not release as much GH as GHRP-2 but it causes virtually no hunger or gastric motility and for the most part does not effect cortisol or prolactin. It is a third generation peptide

You would choose GHRP-2 unless you wanted GHRP-6 for the hunger effect or for the lower release profiles.

You would choose GHRP-2 normally as the most bang for the buck.

If you are very sensitive to perturbations in cortisol or prolactin you would choose the more expensive Ipamorelin.

    Chris,
I have been doing alot of research on ghrp-6 and its effects on intense hunger. I am going to start using it and want to maximize its effects. As a bulking rroutine I am going to do the 20 Rep Squat Program.I have a couple questions
1.How long does the hunger effect last?
2.Would the best time to dose be before breakfast, lunch and dinner to maximize the hunger effects?
3.Would it make any sense to take digestive enzymes with it?Wouldn't this help digest the extra calories?

    Thank You

    Hey Joe, great questions

The intense hunger can be hit and miss...more hits than misses in my case.* The hunger can set in after 5-10 minutes, lasting to 30-40 minutes - it can pass and you may not eat, not big deal.* Other times you can just begin eating and overeat yourself to sleep

time according to when is convenient for you, 30 minutes before meals or workouts is optimal

sure, if you find yourself consuming a ton of calories...extra greens, fiber and maybe enzymes would be welcomed.* Amazing that when on the GH releasers...youll eat more, look and feel leaner - best of luck!!!

Hey thanks for the info. From most of the research I did on all the other forums it seemed that most people who used GHRP6 gained weight.
I plan on consuming 5k calories a day.I like the fact that it will not shut me down like a PH cycle does.I will keep you posted.
    Thanks Again

    GHRP-6 Instruction

    GHRP-6 Hexapeptide

    DESCRIPTION
    Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6 (GHRP-6)
is a synthetic hexapeptide which stimulates the release of Growth
Hormone. It accomplishes this by two totally separate mechanisms. On the one hand, GHRP amplifies your body's natural
Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) signal transduction pathway, and on the other hand, acts as a
functional antagonist of the hormone which causes inhibition of GH secretion (somatostatin).

GHRP-6 also has the benefit of being able to directly stimulate the anterior pituitary gland, resulting in increased GH
release. GHRP-6 induced GH secretion occurs by several mechanisms. Most importantly, those mechanisms are the
induction of GHRH release from the hypothalamus, stimulation of GH release from somatotrophs, joint actions of
GHRH and antagonism of somatostatin, and finally by pronounced antagonism of somatostatin action on
somatotrophs. However, it bears clarification that GHRP-6 is not dependant on the GHRH pathway It can boost
growth hormone levels without needing to elevate GHRH. This is important because if that pathway has been
inhibited by long term GH use, GHRP-6 can still get the body producing and releasing GH.

Additionally, this peptide can also act on the central nervous system, which can provide added benefits in
neuroprotection as well as muscular strength increases for the user. Much of the strength increases we see with
Anabolic Steroids in the Dihydrotestosterone family are suspected to be through a similar stimulation of the Central
Nervous System. Athletes using GHRP-6 typically experience strength levels increasing within the first week of use.
Increases in Growth Hormone levels in the body are typically accompanied by strength increases, muscle
hypertrophy (growth), and lipolysis (fat loss). Other results experienced with increased GH levels in general are
recuperative effects on joints and injuries; connective tissue strengthening and bone mineral density improvements
are commonplace. Enhanced GH secretion also leads to the liver secreting more IGF-1 (Insulin-Like Growth Factor
1 ), which is thought to be the primary anabolic mechanism of action for Growth Hormone.

    FUNCTIONS
Since GHRP-6 acts directly on the feedback loop which signals the inhibition of GH release, it has been used to
recover natural GH production by inhibiting somatostatin action. immediately following either synthetic GH or IGF-1
cycles, It has also been used concurrently with those compounds to negate some of the effects of those compounds
on natural GH production. Most people who use IGF are unaware that IGF is part of the hormonal cascade that GH
initiates, it is also part of the Negative feedback loop for it.

GHRP-6 causes stimulation of the anterior pituitary gland which ultimately causes an increase in GH release.* Since
GHRP-6 acts directly on the feedback loop which signals the inhibition of GH release, when natural GH secretion has
been inhibited by long term synthetic use. GHRP-6 also affects the central nervous system, by protecting neurons as
well as increasing strength in a way very similar to the way certain steroids in the Dihydrotestosterone family do.

    INDICATIONS
To re-stimulate the natural production of GH production following use of synthetic GH or IGF-1. For the treatment of
aphasia (lack of hunger), joint injury, recovery and repair of muscle and joint tissue after injury or training.
    Weight and strength gain.

    SUGGESTED USE
Typical doses of GHRP-6 range from 50mcg daily for joint repair and rehabilitation, 100mcg/day injected
subcutaneously (for connective tissue strengthening) to 500mcg/day (for weight gain and an anabolic effect).
500mcg/day is the upper limit of effective dosing for GHRP-6.

    FUNCTIONS
Benefits of increased Growth Hormone levels through GHRP-6 stimulation include]mass, rejuvenation and strengthening of joints, connective tissue and bone mass, weight gain and in some
individuals, body fat loss,. Enhanced GH secretion also leads to the liver secreting more IGF-1 (Insulin-Like Growth
Factor 1), which is thought to be the primary anabolic mechanism of action for Growth Hormone.

    INDICATIONS
For weight gain, increasing muscle mass.

    GHRP SIDE EFFECTS
The major side effect accompanied by the use of GHRP-6 is a significant increase in appetite due to it
stimulating the release of Ghrelin, a peptide which is released naturally in the lining of the stomach and
increases hunger and gastric emptying which typically occurs within an hour of injection. Although GHRP-6 can
have GH-like effects, the weight/ production of excess adipose tissue is a negative factor..

    HOW SUPPLIED
2mg peptide vial with rubber stopper containing freeze dried reconstitutable powder.

    RECONSTITUTE GHRP
Reconstitute the unmixed peptide by first removing the plastic flip top of the Peptide Vial. Swab exposed rubber
    stopper with alcohol.

Remove the plastic flip top on the Bacteriostatic water vial. Swab exposed rubber stopper with alcohol. With an
insulin syringe, pull plunger back 100 units and slowly push into bacteriostatic water rubber seal. Depress plunger
filling the bacteriostatic water vial with pressure and then turn upside down drawing 100 units of water.
Remove syringe from dilutent and carefully insert into peptide vial; for example. Inject water into peptide vial
observing the clear reconstruction. The reconstituted peptide solution is ready and should be kept refrigerated for
    storage.

    GHRP6 STORAGE
Unmixed vials containing dry peptide powder may be stored at room temperature, without refrigeration (avoid
    extreme heat).
Always store reconstituted peptide serum vials in the refrigerator.
Discard reconstituted peptide serum after 8 weeks.

    EXPIRATION of GHRP6
Unmixed peptides in powder form have a shelf-life of up to 48 months (4 years) in the freezer. Unmixed vials can be
stored in the freezer for a period of up to 48 months; however, if* you are going to use the vials within 1 month store
them in the refrigerator. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles can cause damage to the peptide.

    Re: GHRP-6

So 100mcg ED of ghrp-2 would have significantly less sides than let's say 100mcg ED of ghrp-6? 100mcg of either peptide is considered to be a minimal dose and only would be for "repair" of joints and ligaments? Would there be any recomp effect or anabolic effect of such a small dosage of either peptide?

    Re: GHRP-6

    "
So 100mcg ED of ghrp-2 would have significantly less sides than let's say 100mcg ED of ghrp-6? 100mcg of either peptide is considered to be a minimal dose and only would be for "repair" of joints and ligaments? Would there be any recomp effect or anabolic effect of such a small dosage of either peptide?

The effects from ghrelin are noticeable, however hunger is also common experience with GHRP2. @ 100mcg of GHRP would be a good effect...anabolic no...synergy, yes

Wow.This is quite a long post despite the fact that there are fewer comments here compared to other threads. However, this one contains the most important information (so far). Thanks! It is worth the time I spend reading your posts on this thread.

Information overload. Lol. Kidding aside, this thread is very informational. Interested GHRP-6 users will really benefit from this thread. Again, thank you so much for posting helpful threads. You are the perfect admin!

GHRP-6 is in the list of my favorite peptides. Yes, it makes me hungry, but I do not mind it. Also, I need to get a little bit fatter for me to successfully tone my body. Right now, I have stopped using GHRP-6 as I am in another phase of toning my body.

I love how ghrp-6 increases our appetite. It helps people to get big and then bulk up easier. However, I do not recommend it to people who are looking for ways to trim down their weight.
